Erika, I too, suffer from a bad back. It's been pretty good lately, but for a while there, I was MISERABLE! I love my chiropractor! He's our neighbor too! I love how I feel after going to see him. He gets everything back in place and I feel relaxed. I should go just to get an adjustment. Sometimes I am carrying both babies...and that's not good!

Well, I called a friend of ours that is in the A/C Business. Steve was very uncomfortable with the answer the other guy gave us. Mostly because it could cost us $500!!! Dear, sweet Antonio came over after dinner and took a look. It seems I need about 4 parts and 2 hours labor (about $250 total) and it could be running again. Unfortunatly, I have to use HSA's recommended repair co, so I have to wait until tomorrow. He doesn't believe it was hit by lightening. He believes that a wire shorted (he showed me) and it caused a relay of shortages to happen. HOWEVER, he told me to not say anything until we find out what HSA is going to do. If they are willing to replace the unit, then let them! But then I wondered if they work like your medical insurance ....if you find a repair (in the case of medical, you find that you are being billed for something you shouldn't) that saves them money, do you benefit? I dunno...

How many more days til we leave?? 94? I hope I make it! LOL

2-3 weeks is plenty

I went to the chiropractor this afternoon. My neck has been aggravating me for the last few days, and by this afternoon, I had enough. All better now!!

I have never been to a chiropractor.....they scare me!!!!! LOL

Me too! LOL! My dad was a doctor, and I can't tell you the # of times he preached at us about the foibles of chiropractic. I know it works for some, and that is great!

that is why Steve wanted me to call Antonio! when I was explaining it to Antonio on the phone, nothing was matching up, that's when he said, I'll be over in a bit. I only wish the company Antonio works for would be covered by HSA. I have to use an HSA approved company...and right now, they only have one in this area!

Shudder.... having a child like Sean I can totally relate to being freaked out! There was a chiropracter a few years ago that tried to tell me that he could CURE Sean... yeah RIGHT! He hadn't a clue.. just saw us as we were walking (sean in wheelchair at the time!) through the expo hall at the fairgrounds.

Get a CLUE buddy!!!

I know some Chiropractors are good, but when I was in high school I saw a quack. He told me none of my internal organs were functioning properly. I came home bawling cuz I thought I was going to die. 10 years later I was doing daycare for this girl, and she had glasses but she didn't wear them. She squinted all the time cuz she couldn't see anything, but her doctor told her if she didn't wear them here eyes would get better. Guess what, her dr. was my quack chiro!

Dare I say it....That's my favorite! LOL Steve came home one day and said that JB tried to decapitate him! LOL He had only adjusted his neck! I was I just I know I feel 100% better after leaving there.
