Gosh i've been gone so long and then i couldn't find you.. i can't keep up. has anyone bought or used walkie talkies on cruise before, i want to keep up with teen daughter. any suggestions

Hi Joyce!! Welcome back!
We have used the radios before. They do work to some degree...if you are relatively close. Like within a deck or 2 or in the hallways and on the open decks. They don't work well from the upper to lower decks and from forward to aft. To much steel for those weak little radio waves to get through.

ATTENTION: FOR EVERYONE!!! If you plan to use FRS radios OFF the ship, be aware that other countries do not use the same frequency allocations as the US does. You could be talking on their emergency services frequencies, and if caught, could land you in big trouble. Considering where we are going, the only question would be St. Martin / Marteen. It doesn't matter at CC, and St. Thomas is a US possession. I personally would use mine at St. Thomas, but not at St. Martin. Use your own discretion.

Finally getting a chance to DIS..... should be in and out tonight for a chat.

I tried to book a Palo brunch today and it appears all the brunch times slots are full OMG
I did get a High Tea booking for the Sunday at 3pm and a few nursery bookings.
Can anyone tell what night the Pirate party is. I thoughts Wed.

I was just reading that Carnival has two new ships being built, the Carnival Magic and the Carnival Dream. ""Name thieves""

They steal one of ours, as well as one good possibility for a future one of ours.

They already have other good ones too; The Fantasy...Fascination...Imagination...Inspiration...Spirit...Holiday...they actually have come up with some good ones.

Maybe it's just the in me but I say Disney should steal one back!!!! I can't decide which name I like though

they are all good, but I like Dreams!!!!!!!

Just popping on to say HI! As I am getting ready to have dinner and a go to a movie with my friend! We are going to see Hancock. The boys saw it today with thier great-aunt and said it was really good...but I told them not to tell me about it!!!

Some may know that we are alumni of the University of Oregon. With that, we are huge Oregon Duck fans. This past Sunday, our football suffered a tragedy from a freak accident. It is quite sad. Attached is a story that if you read the last few sentences will just make your jaw drop.

I don't know yet if we will be going back, might want to do something else like Ontario Science Centre?
