Good afternoon!

I'm back at the cabin for a few days and am happily playing on my Mac! The weather is really volatile today and we are under a tornado watch at the lake so I'm hanging around inside with the AC on!

CRUISE COMMENT/QUESTION

I was putting things on my Wish List in anticipation of making ressies tomorrow night and noticed the Banana Boats are not listed at CC. I seem to remember reading that they were off the excursion list for awhile. Anyone know if they might come back?? I may ask on the main cruise thread. My kids will be so bummed...

We are booked for tour 1 with Godfrey.

Let me know what you are planning for Bernard, if you do a private tour. Depending on how much the difference is, we might concider doing that instead. Although, i am happy with the tour he has planned. Do you think, if we had 20 people booked, he would do a private tour for us, but not charge us an arm and a leg? Already, if we have us, pinkies, texasgirl and erika, that's 16, then add in Allen's crew, that's 20, right? Just food for thought!

With my crew, it would be at least 22. We would have at least 6!

Depends on where it comes from. In your vacation guide that DCL sent, read the "Setting Sail" section. I details the customs allowances for everything including alcohol.

It goes well!! We have been cruise clothes shopping today. and went to dinner with some friends from home we met up here. Gonna do it again tomorrow!

Good morning all!!! Going down to the Donut Friar (yes, the spelling is correct) and have some terribly bad-for-you, really good stuff!!! They make the best cinnamon bread..... Anyway, our favorite lunch place is closed for a major plumbing problem!!! I was so looking forward to a ruben and a St. Paulie Girl.... Oh well, maybe a shrimp po boy at the New Orleans Sandwich Co. The couple that owns that came up here and opened up after Katrina. Good move for us!!!!

Good Morning all!!!

I was LOL at Candy's Comment about seeing 2 of Denis!!! That would be double trouble for sure!!!!

Allen, one of our favorite restaraunts is No Way Jose's. We like to sit outside and enjoy a pitcher or 2!! the last time we were there it was with a group from the Avalanche Club. We had several pitchers and then went in search of go cart racing! OMG I get giggly just thinking about that!! and for the record, we used the bus/trolley, it was like a quarter?, so we didn't drive, just the go carts!

No rain for us today....that will be tomorrow and Monday, but before that cold front moves in, it's going to be 92 and Hot, Hazy and Humid! thank goodness we still have a down stairs cooling unit!!!

It seems I might be without my boys for a few days this coming week. My neighbor is going to Clarksburg, WV to do a teaching seminar. Steve's parents live in Clarksburg, so she called and offer to take the boys with her! They would leave Monday morning and be back Thursday night. Steve's Mom needs to check with her sister to see if she will be around. Both Mom and Dad work on Weds and Thurs. At first the boys were hesitant to go, but after a bit of encouraging and giving them the "your grandparents aren't getting any younger" speech, they are okay to go. And if worse comes to worse, it's only a 2 hours drive up to get them.

Well, I better get busy. I didn't lift a finger yesterday, so the dishes are still in the sink and the house is just a general disaster zone!!! Plus if the boys are leaving, I better be sure to have the wash caught up so they'll have clean things to take with them! ENJOY your Saturday!!!!

Sean would be jealous... he and I were there for a few days last year and he loved the aquarium and black light mini golf! *I* loved the sweet potato pancakes... yummmmm!!!!

I just gave the TA the green light to get the insurance and pay the cruise off.

I can't believe we'll be at sea 3 months from today (hopefully I'm not ).

I've got some serious shopping to do. But I think the dress situation is much better now.
