I have to go to the bank tomorrow to get the cash money I will need for the trip, so I am trying to put together a rough budget. Can anyone tell me if the deposits for the cruises if we book on the ship are $250.00 or is it $250.00 per person?

Oh goody, goody......I sure don't mind that you booked it. I was hoping that someone on here would be on teh excursion with us. In fact, if you guys want to tag along up to Paradise Point, you would very welcomed. We aren't going to stay up there long. Since the Coral World thing is over at noon, we figured we would eat at the restaurant and do a few pictures. There is a bird show at 1:30 then the kids can get their pictures taken with a Parrot on their shoulders. That would be too cute for the scrapebook. Especially with us being the PARROThead Pirates.

Im glad that we will be going together  We might join you up to Paradise point if Chris is acting ok :rolleyes1 That would be cute with the birds on their shoulders :lovestruc

I only have 2 more sleeps here as well...then tuesday its up to moms! :woohoo: And then I wont be home again till after the cruise...but I dont dare talk about that taboo subject...:sad2:

Oh I need to talk to Mike about the investment in the next cruise :flower3: ...See if he will go for the rebooking while there...Gail I will let you know if the approach suggestion that you gave me will work

Unless they have changed it, it is 250.00 per person.

Hello all! It's been a crazy day!!!! Went to 830 service, got home a little after 930, went with Colton and Steve to get haircuts, then to Bob Evan's for brunch. Home to get dressed for football, and off to the games. Stever worked the concession stand for the last game, the boys and I just watched the B team play. THEN, we stopped at Mi Pueblito for dinner, home to gather the garbage and get showers. Needless to say, we are beat, and I am sure we won't be on here much longer. Of course, being gone all day, we have NO Packing done!

Kristin, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

Allen, thanks for the update on the Bridge tours. I think we'll stop at guest services and see if they might be able to help us come up with something to cover Connor's science project.

Did I miss anything else...I just breezed over the last few pages, and I know I skipped a BUNCH of pages!

Maureen, check your bottle of sunscreen for an experation date. All bottle are now required to have one. If there's not one, I would buy a new bottle. And really, for the few dollars a new bottle costs, I would just get a new one. I have 4 new bottles that I am bringing! LOL Colton burns VERY easy, so he needs 60spf, the rest is 30 for the rest of us. But after hearing Erika, I might use the 60 on all of us! We'll see!

Shauna and Gail, I am sorry to hear you won't be on the Godfrey Tour!!! I was looking forward to it! I think it will be interesting to see all the different sights.

Okay, I am off to get the boys ready for school tomorrow and get myself ready for back to work!

Have a good night!

It is $250 per person, but they did have a promo off half down on deposit (maybe $125). What the diff. its all gotta be paid at one time or another.
Were defiantely re-booking as well.
I just put on my gold travel card for the points.

Do you know what the deposit is? The website say $250 dollars. I had to pay $500.00 deposit for this cruise. I can't remember how much I paid for the first cruise. I thought either it mean $250 per person, or maybe DU has a different requirement than booking directly with Disney.

It is per person, therefore ours is $1000...ouch

Michelle.......I probably would have stayed on if they would have e-mailed me back. Since they just wouldn't respond, I was getting afraid that there was a problem with my reservation. I didn't want to get there and not have an excursion booked at all. The Disney excursion includes all the things I really wanted to do, and is safer than me heading out on my own. So, I went ahead and booked it before it was too late.

I hope all of you still have fun on your tour.

LOL, yeah, we are 4 too, that is a large chunk of change!

Well worth it though, I just budget into the cost of the trip. I figure its better to get booked than not to. Plus it gives you something to look forward to on that sad saturday morning when they make you get off the ship.

Okay....this explains what happened. I got on DCL and pretended to be booking a cruise and did it all the way through to where it asked for credit card to see what the deposit would be and it asked for a $250.00 deposit. I didn't know that they were running a special to get half off the deposit. So that is explains the difference.

I will just count as if it will be $500.00 and if the half off deposit is still offered, that will be more shopping money.

Thanks everyone for responding!!!!!!!

Double ouch! That is the only positive to Merkie and me always traveling alone. It's cheaper. I do have to pay for her as an adult because the first two in the room are charged as adults regardless of age.

What dates are you considering

That's what I was thinking to.

Okay guys, over a week ago I posted about my attempts to reach Godfrey Tours to try to change my pickup time from 9:00 to 10:00. I have continued to e-mail them everyday and I've had no response at all. I even called the number listed on the internet site twice and got an answering machine and did leave a message. No response to that either.

Can someone tell me what your experience was? I got the link from those of you on here who were using them. I got on and filled out the information slip to book the tour. I have never received anything back from the confirming the booking. Now I can't reach them. I'm starting to worried that maybe I don't even have the tour booked.

Hi Gail!! you should have received a confirmtion email the next day of booking!!! I have contacted him several times via email and always got an answer!! I don't get why he didn't answer emails OR phone calls?????? weird

Evening kiddies:wave:

dropping in for a few to see how quick DCL loads. if it doesn't load quick i may go watch the Amazing Race and come back after.

That science project just might get you a bridge tour and a chance at the horn button!!!!

I didn't receive a confirmation e-mail back either. That's why I'm thinking maybe there was a problem and I don't even have the tour booked. :confused3 I have called three times now and I have sent no less than ten e-mails. I haven't heard anything back yet.
