They do a really good job wrapping them for shipping... if you order the gift box you get a really nice metal box that they come in too.

I used them to bribe our surgeon to do something special for me last year... (he is a total chocoholic)... you should have seen his face when he tasted them. You would have thought he died and went to heaven... LOL!

I may give them a try. I have a few people that I usually buy food type items for Christmas. I've done Mrs. Prindables Apples from QVC and chocolates from the Old Kentucky Chocolate Factory, things like that. I think I may try these this year. Thanks for the idea.

Hello all!!!

Been a little busy around here!! Today is Shannon's birthday. so we are going to be running around!!! First is lunch with Grandma, then we are going to the mall to shop, then we are picking up an ice cream cake (no time to make one), then tonight she has invited a few friends over for pizza, cake and Wii!!! LOL
It's also Hannah's birthday today!!! We already talked to her and she got the money we sent her and she said she already spent it!! LOL
Hopefully later I'l be able to come back on and catch up!!

Steve and I are sitting here looking at Blackberry phones. Does anyone have an opinions on them? Is the Pearl better then the Curve? Why? Should we wait for the Storm? Or how about the Bold?? Ahhh!!! it's so confusing!

The Pearl is NOT better than the Curve. I just replaced my Pearl with the Curve a week ago. The full keyboard is a must, the predictive typing on the Pearl is a PIA! Also, both mine and 2 of my friends were very quirky, we had to reset them once every couple weeks. The Storm is way cool, but so far no one will commit to a release date, I think they are having problems with the software, since it keeps getting pushed back. I am also not sure how well I would like the virtual keyboard.

Thank You Erika! We had pretty much decided on the Curve, but the Pearl is just a bit smaller. Although, having the bigger screen and keyboard seemed like the better way to go. So, so far you are happy with the Curve??

The next 2 contracts on the phones wlll be up in a year. I guess we could trade these out now, and then in a year, if we decide, we could give the boys these blackberrys and get the new fangled ones. But I doubt if even in a year, they will need to have a BB. They could get a phone with a full QWERTY board though.

Yes, the Curve is much nicer, and really not that much bigger. I actually find it easier to hold when I'm talking on it. The bigger screen is also much nicer, mine sports a beautiful pic of the Magic taken at CC by my hubby for my wallpaper. Also with a Blackberry, you can use any music you load on your phone for free ringtones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also check out Crackberry.com.

That's an easy decision for me. I can't afford it. I already pay 100 a month for phone and internet I'm not about to fork over 70 or 80 just for the privilage of having a blackberry/blueberry/raspberry/quavaberry strapped to my waist

LOL I know, it's another expense! it actually will only raise our cell phone bill $20 a month per phone. Steve says he can justify it because he can use it at work to access the State Board of Pharmacy website, Rite Aid's website, email his bosses, etc. I can't really justify it, other then it's cool, sometimes Jen takes her laptop with her to work, so I am left without...boo hoo LOL....and it might give the boys something to do while we are waiting at Dr appts etc. I could use it while waiting to pick the boys up and while sitting at the ball field...of course, those days are now over, but there is always next year!!! It's not a done deal, yet.....

I would call those house shoes or slippers. ALTHOUGH, the hillbillies around here would wear them to Walmart with their pajama pants. That has become a pet peeve of mine! LOL WHY do people think it's okay to wear pajama pants to the store?? I KNOW they are comfy, but they are for lounging around the house or sleeping in! NOT going to the store to get groceries or diapers! stepping down off my soapbox now! LOL

the general consensus with the thread seems to be that if you are a repeat/frequent vacationer, or DVC, then you won't get the pin. They are trying to drum up business. There was also a pin for buying a $500 merchandise card for $395. there were actually 3 different offers, all the way to $1000 for $700 and something. Someone figured it to be about 30% off. However, there were a LOT of restrictions on where you could use it. It had to be a Disney Owned merchant...not valid at some of the EPCOT World Locations, you couldn't use it on food or snacks. Some of the DTD stores were excluded too! I guess if you were going to go to The World of Disney and do all your shopping in one store, I could see it, but not us. I don't think we've spent that much on souvies in the parks in a long time. We did on the ship, but I think that's different. I call Disney Merchandise and just order what I want! LOL
