Yummmmmmy! I gained weight just looking at those things. May have to order those. How are they wrapped for shipping? I was just wondering if they would still look as nice or if the packaging will smash them up.

They do a really good job wrapping them for shipping... if you order the gift box you get a really nice metal box that they come in too.

I used them to bribe our surgeon to do something special for me last year... (he is a total chocoholic)... you should have seen his face when he tasted them. You would have thought he died and went to heaven... LOL!

Giggle... honest, they are worth it!!! I have been trying to find a recipe so I can make them at home!!!!

Michele, they are closed on Thanksgiving day, I checked. You could drive in the day before though... LOL! Dorothy Lane is my first stop when I hit Ohio... my friend's house is only 10 minutes from the store... their deli section is something else too... parmesan crusted tilapia, cranberry bread pudding with vanilla sauce... since no one at my friends house eats (they are ALL tube feeders or on TPN) Kaj and I are the only ones who eat so we tend to splurge a bit!

Tell your sister it is worth the drive some day just to check out the store... she will find herself hooked!

ROFL.... tempting isnt it! One of the reasons I wish we lived in that area!!! Almost as much as it sure would be nice to live closer to my dear friends in springboro.... they are closer than my own family, you know?

Actually it is probably a good thing we DON'T live in the area or I would not be losing weight at all (lost 5 more pounds since the cruise, and I managed NOT to gain any ON the cruise!!!!)

Been a little busy around here!! Today is Shannon's birthday. so we are going to be running around!!! First is lunch with Grandma, then we are going to the mall to shop, then we are picking up an ice cream cake (no time to make one), then tonight she has invited a few friends over for pizza, cake and Wii!!! LOL
It's also Hannah's birthday today!!! We already talked to her and she got the money we sent her and she said she already spent it!! LOL

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHANNON!!!!

We have run all day since the boys spent the night at a friends house. Got the gifts wrapped, got Steve's tires rotated, visited the Alltel store, went to China Chef for lunch, went to the trophy shop to order something, then we drove around a bit to waste time and check out a new subdivision, although we have no interst in moving! Then we stopped at Verizon to see what they had, then back to the trophy shop and then to pick up the boys. We just now got home!

We have talked with Connor and he is not going to get a new phone for Christmas. With the phone types that he wanted, you have to get the internet. He's 11. He doesn't need all the features that those phones can do. Buuuuut, his Mom and Dad do! LOL So, we are going to upgrade OUR phones and pass the phones we have down to the boys. They aren't even a year old, so they aren't old, and really, if we didn't have 2 contracts up for renewal, I would be content to keep it. It would just be really fun to have a Blackberry or the like! Now he has to pick something else for his Christmas gift! and he is okay with that and understands why we aren't getting him the phone he wanted.

I guess I'll have to convince my sister that she needs to go over and check out the Dorothy Lane Store! Sounds like a really neat place to shop.

Off to make some burgers for the boys!
