Thanks for the well wishes everyone. I don't have to go to a specialist. It's just a fracture. The doctor had an x-ray done and says it just needs to rest long enough to heal up. I do go back on Tuesday for another x-ray to make sure eveything is alright.

Denis, I don't know that I would want to eat Spam as often as you do, but I wasn't joking we did seriously like it. Merkie has started calling it the cruise meat since we learned about it on here. How funny would it have been to have seen Spam added to the menu at Lumieres?

The Lava cake recipe makes about six of the small dishes.. It is sooo YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After having broken my ankle, i gotta say that i highly reccomend an appt. with an orthopedist. Not that your Dr. isn't good. But broken bones are an ortho specialty and I would feel much better having my hand examined by 1 if it broke.


That said i hope your ex has been properly chastised for his good deed You could get a few miles outta that 1 i think

Thay had to come thru Lebanon to get to Murfreesboro. It is just a few miles south of us!!

That's great!! What did you wind up using???

I wound up using that ZAR site. Quick as a bunny download, and got right to work. Couldn't have been easier. I had everything done in about an hour including copying pics to my computer. I was quite pleasantly surprised to get it done that quick.

Mickey88 who reccommended it said he spent 80 bucks on a recovery system and this actually worked way better than what he bought. The site does photos for free but you have to pay if you want other data recovered. Its great.

We had a really nice time at Mary and Allen's last night! They had a good crowd and the house was decorated incredibly spooky (every room and outside)!!! Mary's Cheesburger soup was awsome... made with ground turkey instead of beef. Everyone was commenting how good it was! Allen's chilli was good I guess, but it had beef in it so I didn't eat it. I made the Oreo Orgy for dessert! Not one drop of it left.

Hope everyone else had a grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr-8 Halloween!

Now on to Thanksgiving and Christmas.... There will be houses decorated for Christmas in our neighborhood starting tonight as we have some that forget about Thanksgiving completely... We put our tree up on the day after Thanksgiving, that's a 46 year tradition here.

No it didn't. Nothing in the house had beef in it except the little smokies!! It was the smokies I told you that you couldn't eat. We have some chili left so I'll save you some!
