I am back, but only very briefly! It's getting late and that alarm clock chimes early!!!!!
Steve: who posted tinky winky
Me: Pinky!
LOL
Steve: that just ain't right!
We won our football game today!! Only after sending a boy for a ride in am ambulance! Oh my. He was the quarterback for the other team. He was heading towards the sideline and one of our boys, Brandon, just nailed him. The whole crowd went "Ooooh!" when they hit. We knew it was hard. All the boys got out of the pig pile and this boy did not move, at all. One of our coaches ran over...he was on the side line were on....and he was out cold. They yelled for the other team's coaches and one of our Moms is a Dr. She ran out there. The Mom finally ran out across the field...I don't think she really knew it was her kid because we were on the opposite side of the field. The Dr said it was best to take him to the hospital. They called for an ambulance and they took him with his helmet on...they took off the face mask so they could help him if he needed it. Let me just say, that every time the thought came to my head that he could have been my kid, my eye's welled up. I told Steve, "that's it! No more football!" I got the eye roll of course! Brandon was a mess I guess. Connor was talking to him while we were waiting on the ambulance. He kept asking stuff like "did I kiil him?" "am I in trouble?" Brandon made the next tackle when we resumed play and after he did, he help the boy up and patted him on the back! He is shook up, I am sure.
Okay, we are going to go to bed!! Have fun with the run!!!!!!
I no, that's aweful. Football is one of the many reasons I'm glad I had a girl. Every time I go to a football game I worry for everyone else's kids.
