What do you think about a small, "portable" version of "the list"?? Just dis name, names and stateroom #'s. I can fix it in a pdf file and small where you could print out 1 or 2 pages to bring with you....

I know this is getting technical, and might be more work then it's worth....I can print the list front and back of one piece of paper...bur I was thinking......

Would it be possible to be able to print it like a flyer (or church bulletin)? Have the paper folded in half, but you would look at it like a book...even though it would be one page? Am I making sense?

Is that an easy thing to do, or a major pain? If it's major, don't worry about it...I just thought it would look nice.

Last night, during our run, I posted this recipe for Apple Betty. It is SO yummy and SO easy, I thought I would bring it up this morning too! I know Nancy said they were going to make pies today. This is like a crustless pie. I didn't have an already made crust and didn't want to make one, so I tried this. I had enough apples to really double the recipe and make it in a 9x13. I still have a bag of apples already peeled, so I'll have to do something else with them tonight for dessert!

Okay, we just had this for dessert! OMG! It is SO easy and SO yummy!! So if you have a bunch of apples to use up, here's a DELISH recipe!!!! I have to admit, I read some of the reviews and after reading changed the recipe slightly.....used 1/2 C White Sugar and 1/2 C Brown Sugar. I also added 1/4 tsp ground cloves. This will not last in our house!

Apple Betty

INGREDIENTS:
4 cups thinly sliced apples
1/4 cup orange juice
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 pinch salt
1/2 cup butter

DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9 inch pie plate.
2. Mound sliced apples in the pie plate. Sprinkle with orange juice.
3. In a medium bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Scatter over the apples.
4. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes. Serve warm.

Not at all. Probably a template in Word. If not, it's no big deal to make one.

I found out they have an Okapi, and since that is just about my favorite animal in the entire world, we have to go see it... And it is on the way back to my friend's house in Springboro, so that works well too. I sure do love to be on the road and seeing new places, meeting new people, and seeing the world around us...

Did anyone else end up booking with Bernard's Tours in St. Martin or we the only DIS group that ended up with him. For a while it was several, then it seems like it was dwindling. It is fine if it is just our family. Just was curious.

Haven't posted here lately. Ya'll have been having fun!
