Family trips are important! Hopefully you will be able to make it to CA sometime soon!!!

It will probably be 2011 at the earliest. Next year, we are doing Philadelphia for Spring Break, a trip to WDW around end of Aug and beginning of Sept, and Clearwater for Fall Break. I have promised Merkie back-to-back Disney Cruises for 2010. We will make west someday though.

the old power supply cord fried up the battery...so now I have a new power supply cord and I just have to replace the battery (after the cruise). So for now I just took out the battery and it works fine!

Glad that you can still use it with the power cord...my moms laptop is like that...wonder if the same thing happened. She can only use it with the power cord because the battery is dead...she has to get a new battery to put in it but she cant because dad is out of work for now ...that is why i get him here to help us

Glad that it isnt something horribly bad though...and at least you can use it tilll you get a battery with the power cord

Evening everyone and BRRRRRR!!!! LOL Connor had a scrimmage tonight. All the parents were under the impression that it was going to last about an hour. Well, we arrived to pouring rain and lightening and thunder!! Needless to say, the boys played on!! They played past the ends zone, so the parents walked out on to the field to watch. Connor did really well!! I think he's starting to find his way! My feet are FREEEZING! I wore the wrong shoes. I had on tennis shoes, but they are mesh, not leather. Oh well..... IT'S FOOTBALL SEASON!

I'll be back! going to find my jammies and switch over the wash while my hot chocolate cools!

The chord for the power supply cracked open. It gave off a really funky smell when it shorted out!

a new battery will not be too much....probably around $100 or so?
