Today was the day I married my best friend.

23 years ago, I walked into a Gray Drug Store to start my new job. This handsome looking man showed me the ropes. Turns out, he was the assistant manager, my boss.

A year later, he FINALLY asked me on a date! Within the year, we were engaged, but then came the hitch in the plan. He decided to go back to college, pharmacy school, a 5 year commitment. He asked me to go with him and get my degree, I told him to go on and I would wait. And I did.

On September 12, 1992, a beautiful, sunny, breezy day in Cleveland, Ohio I married my life partner, my soul mate, my friend.

Randy just left for work,, he is going to be very busy tonight!!! A tragic accident happened.......A Metrolink train and a freight train hit head on!!!!!!!!! I'm sure the train was full because of people heading home from work in L.A.!!!!!!!!!! It looks like a few people were killed and alot of people injured!!!! This wreck has happened in Randy's area, so he will probably be heading right over there after roll call!!!!!!

That is really sad news

Kristin, sorry to hear bout Bruce's injury. Make sure he keeps ice packs on it. Very important! Keep him resting with some pain killers.
Hope he feels better, as we say around our house (we all have major sport injuries) Ice is your friend...........

Oh I know. The same thing happened here on 9/11. Some of the local station owners were actually fined for their actions then. I think gas went to something like $5.25 and the prices didn't even start at $3.86 then the way the have now.

Can you say panic buying?? Boneheads.. This is the exact same thing that happened with Katrina. There were going to be gas shortages for weeks, but it didn't happen. There is plenty of gas in the distribution centers. The reason these places run out of gas is because everyone panics and goes to buy gas at the same time!!!! They will have more tomorrow!!!!

No, the local news!!!!!!!!! They are pulling them out with the ladders from the ladder trucks............the first three they lifted them out uncovered and they would cover them once they were on the ground , then after that they started covering them before they lifted them out!! Those poor families of the victims must be so scared wondering about their loved ones!!!!!!!!!
