We had a great day. We drove what seemed to be forever to finally find the only apple farm that had "pick your own". I had heard from people at work that this place had gone down the tubes and all the kiddie attractions were gone. Pffft everything was still there. I liked the fact that it was a set price and fill as much as the bags will hold. We paid the 13 dollars and started filling, the kids had a great time and we snapped tons of pictures. Now the pies and crisps can start LOL
Speaking of deserts, are you planning on a special desert tomorrow?????????

Apple picking sounds like so much fun! I don't know of a farm around here. We had strawberries a few months ago, and pumpkins will be soon. I'll have to keep my eyes and ears open!

I am thinking a DQ Blizzard Cake will be in order for tomorrow!!

Ah predisone, a necessary evil. I hope it goes easy with you. I had to take it when i was pregnant with Colton. I had Bells Palsy! Scared the bejesus out of me! I was so scared. Thankfully, I have very little damage from it. Unless I point out the muscle weakness, no one notices!

I will be doing this Walmart run tomorrow to. We are leaving two weeks from Tuesday. I have already told Merkie that we are making due with what we have in the house. We will buy milk and bread and that's it so that things don't go to waste while we are gone.

NO, haven't even looked for shoes lately I have to go back to Zappos. Honestly, I had decided not to buy any shoes, but I really do need them now I'm not buying any sandals though. Can't find anything I even really want to try on.

Tonight I'm booking a hotel room for on the way down to FL.

You don't have to have sandles. Buy a pair of simple black or brown pumps, they go with just about everything!!!

We'll be watching from Saratoga Springs!! We have dinner ressies at 8 at Boma, then we'll come back and maybe let the boys swim for a little, then turn the TV on to see if they are still on schedule. Of course, we'll be at DHS all day, so we might just go to bed and set the alarm for launch time....and then again, we might sleep through it! LOL

Thanks. I didn't even know WHAT Bells was! I just got up to go to work and was brushing my teeth and I couldn't form my mouth to spit! then I went to take a drink and about drowned myself! I went to work and when the Dr's office opened I called and she saw me right away! Put me on predisone and an eye patch since I couldn't blink my eye and it would dry out! I was a pirate before I knew being a pirate was cool! LOL

On another note........have you ever eaten at Boma? Everyone I have talked to loves it, but Merkie and I ate there once Dec 2007. Neither of us liked the food. Nothing even looked good to us. I filled two plates and didn't like any of it. Finally, I got a plate of desserts. They were alright, but nothing to go crazy over. Even those, oh they were some kind of domes that everyone was talking about, we didn't even like those. We will never go back there. Still, like I said, everyone else I know who has eaten there loved it. It's my counsin's favorite restaurant in all of WDW.

Oh I wish!! We got Pizza on Thursday night, Chinese last night and Pepperoni Rolls tonight. I have't even cooked since Weds. I think we have steaks in the freezer. Steve could cook those on the grill before we go to Walmart.

We started at the farm we like to visit but turns out they lost most of their crop this year to hail and frost. This place is fun but only has 4 varieties of apples so we're crossing our fingers for better luck next year
