Hello guys. I'm not feeling very well today, so I am working from home. Actually, I'm planning vacations, but we don't have to tell anyone that now do we? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I just realized something: for disney a kid is 10 and under. Merkie is turning 11 in Nov. The cost of vacations is getting ready to take a big jump. :guilty: The cruises won't change. I pay for her as an adult anyway because we don't have a second adult in the room.

Shoot! I was planning to watch for post 600 and try to get it. Then I forgot until I saw my last one post as 601. Now I will just have to try for 700. It belongs to me!!!!!!!!!!

LOL, stinks doesn't it? I have 4 adults for awhile now, because a kid is actually 3-9 at Disney, 10 is an adult. It really kills me at the buffets.

lets see if this works

Hi Don!!!!!:goodvibes nice to see you here!
WOW that looks awesome!!!!!!!!!! did you make it yourself??

It is a code that saves you a bundle on tickets. If you have a specific show your intersted in let me know I can see if there is a code for it!!!!!!!:goodvibes :goodvibes

Actually, I was interested in The Little Mermaid. We've seen Lion King and Mary Poppins, so this makes the one Disney show onBroadway we haven't seen yet.

It should be pretty easy unless Pirate Allen is on..............he's quite the sneaky one!!!!!!:lmao: :lmao:
He's has swooped in and stole the big numbers from us numerous times!!!! LOL

Hello all!!!!

How is everyone doing today????
Randy and I are going to hit Walmart for his water, and pick up some transfer paper so I can get started on those t-shirts!!!!!
I hope everyone is having a good day!!!!!

Pinky girl; No I did not put the gazebo together---heck I can screw up any mechanical issue beyond recognition. There is a mennonite buisness (Leland Industries) located over the southwest that errects these gazebos, kids house, cottages etc. they bring in all the pieces and put it together unless you have unrestricted acess to your property and they they bring it in one pice and set it up. we only have a 5' gate so they had to play jigsaw puzzle and put it all together.

correction to above "they then bring it in" and piece not pice. sorry bout that

WOW Don...That Gazebo is GORGEOUS!! Im Jealous now ;)

Gail- I know what you mean about Price change at Disney. Chris is going to be 3 next week, so our Disney Trips are going to now include paying for him a ticket. Mike and Myself both have the annual passes so Im going to have to buy one for Chris as well. I know it isnt as bad as paying another adult but still going from nothing to paying for him to get in is going to be weird and require some thought when planning to go these days :goodvibes

Ok Now heres my situation, maybe some of you can help or give me some ideas.

I was going to go up to Disney for the whole week before the Cruise with Christopher (we are planned to all go anyways two days before the cruise to Disney and stay at Pop Century) But for an extra treat Chris and myself were going to enjoy the whole week up there...Well Mike and I were talking last night and were thinking

Maybe I should go up in September instead for a week...:confused3 So that is my first question:
-Should I go a week before Cruise (we are going two days before anyways no matter what) or a Full week in September (after Labor day)

Second set of questions:
If I go in after Labor day...Mike was saying that it would be cheaper of course to stay at the ALL STAR resort (which I am used to staying at) but With Chris I would like to try to stay at a Monorail resort for the first time (it would make it easier with bringing the stroller...not having to keep folding it down and unfolding it by myself) plus we mostly go to MK with Chris since he can go on most of the rides there. But IF we are going to stay at the Monorail resort...Mike said he will pay half and I am to pay the other half...which I really dont mind...but IF we stayed at ALL STAR, he would pay for the full thing himself and I would have some extra money in pocket for things.
Which would you do and why??? The monorail resort that was quoted to us is The Polynessian (which I have never stayed at so I dont know how it is)

-So stay at Poly (and pay half) but enjoy the benefits of the monorail
OR
-Stay at All Star and have more spending money but deal with more busses

:confused3

Thanks for the help everyone

The only thing that really bothers me is when I have to pay for entertainment that involves food (like at Medieval times!) when Sean doesn't eat! I wish we could just pay the kid prices for him then, you know? Oh well.... that's life....

PAC (Performing Arts Camp) was amazing! I could not believe how WELL the kids did. They took about 170 kids from 8th through 12th grade, most of whom did not know each other before camp, and in 2 weeks they had a show that could easily have been shown in ... San Francisco or Los Angeles.

They used 28 different musicals, taking parts of them and put them together to tell the story of the history of the world... from the Children of Eden, Pippen, Camelot, Spamalot, 1776, Paint your Wagon, Evita, Wicked, and more... amazing!

Anyway... it was a great trip, and I am looking forward to more in the future!

I'd go the week in September.......free dinning if it's not too late to add it. Check with Disney. Disney trips two months in a row would be heaven!!!!!

Tough call! A monorail resort would be great, but extra spending money, oooohhh I love to shop! I loved the ASMovies, and Disney buses are pretty efficient. Do you have to fly down or are you driving?

Sounds great! Were you able to take pictures at Friday's performance? I would love to see them.

I say stay at a value resort and save that money for fun. I have stayed in Movies and Music both are fine. The rooms are the size and set up like a typical hotel room. I have stayed at Port Orleans Riverside. In general, I just don't stay at high end hotels. I won't stay at Red Roof Inns (or the like either). A good middle of the road total, clean, good neighborhood with a reasonable price. It just seems silly to me to pay $300.00 a night just to say I stayed in a nicer hotel. When we travel we literally use the room to sleep, shower and change. I probably will never stay at any of the Deluxe Resorts. I'm just too cheap.:confused3

We were not allowed to photos but we did order the CD of photos... if it comes before the cruise I will have Brian bring it with him because I want to see the photos myself! :)
