Hello, remember me? Long time no post! Sorry! Life has been crazy for us since our water damage on June 16th. Lots of insurance stuff, people coming and going and mold prevention steps taken. The damage spread to 4 rooms. We had to shift everything from those rooms somewhere else. Chaos! Then we went on a 2 week vacation as planned, although I wanted to cancel..... When we got back I started trying to make flooring and other repair decisions which seemed overwhelming at first and decided why not remodel the kitchen, since I have some (maybe 1/3) of the money from the insurance. Lots more meetings have followed and now the remodel will start as soon as we get back from the cruise! I'm excited about it now, since most of my decisions are made and the remodel and repair work is scheduled. Guess I won't be hosting Thanksgiving though, bummer.
To add to the chaos, DS recently accepted a late offer to transfer to a different college with a tuition scholarship. Good news, but last minute and guess what, we leave tomorrow morning to take him there. We think it's a 14 hour drive, but not sure. He doesn't have a place to live yet, but we need to take all his stuff for when he does, just hard to know how much room he'll have , but oh well it will all work out I'm sure...
Can't wait for life to get back to normal, what ever that is
