I'm trying to plan our park days for Oct. Disney/UO trip :surfweb:, arriving on Sun Oct 14th and leaving on Sat Oct 20th. We'd like to spend one day at IOA/US, with our main focus getting to see WWOHP (for the second time, went two years ago and it was just AWESOME!!). Anyhoo, since we won't be staying on site this time, I was wondering a couple of things: Is the early entry for hotel guests available every day or only certain days of the week (if every day we might want to avoid that day)? Also, looking at last year's calendar IOA should open at 9 - in order to be in line at the gate by say 8:30, what time should we aim on leaving BCV in order to driver over? Should we try to avoid certain days of the week, like the days HHN is occuring? Anything else I should take into consideration for Oct? :confused3

Thanks!!! :goodvibes

If you're trying to see both parks in October it could be challenging because of the shorter park hours. If you avoid the Studios on a HHN night, you will be able to do a bit more since the park will close at 6pm instead of 5pm. You would need to go on Monday or Tuesday of that week since I have a feeling Wednesday night will be an HHN night too. We won't know for sure until the schedule comes out later over the summer.

If you want to be at the gates at 8:30am, I would allow at least 45 minutes to get there...allowing for traffic....which is impossible to estimate on any given day. Other than staying an extra hour when HHN is not being staged at the Studios, the crowds aren't bad in October so just go whichever day suits you best.

just noticed one of your questions.

the early entry for hotel guests is for every day.
each day they are allowed to enter the park one hour early for parry hotter ville.
and presently also for spiderman ride.

the earlier you are in line at the gate, the better off you will be.

if the back area is not full, there is a chance opening time for the park could be pushed up some minutes.

posters have reported they have been let in 10 minutes early on some dates.
probably due to parry hotter not being packed.

not sayin that will happen for your dates when you are there, but it has happened in the past.
