Oct. crowded for MNSSHP/ value season?

Trying to figure out when to plan our fall trip. I heard about the Mickey's not so scary halloween party. I looked it up and it seems it runs pretty much the entire month of October -- does this make the MK much more crowded the entire month of Oct?
Also, when is value season? Don't know when it starts/ends

The first week and a half of October is pretty quiet. The closer you get to Halloween the more busy it gets. I believe those first 10 days or so are in value season, and then it turns to mid.

We love going to the parks in October. The weather is great, and normally the crowds are moderate. The nights of the MNSSHP earlier in the month are less crowded then those later in the month.

We love Oct. We have been twice to MNSSHP.

We found that the party on shool nights is less crowded. Watch the park hours as we where there the Sat before Halloween. That Sat was the only day with full hours. The park was very crowded. The MK park close early when there is the party so I think a lot of people went on the full day and it was a zoo.

This is a great time of year to go as it is not as crowded as durring the peak times of the year.
