Oct advice

Looks like the family wants mid Oct next year so looking for hints on crowds compared to say first week of Dec., Also how likely is it SSR would book up at 11 or even 10 months?

we're here now, got here on Tues, end of Oct vs Mid...........but very light crowds..........really the only fast pass 'needed' was TSM.

We always go in Oct- we were there the first week this year but planning on 10/19 week for DH bday and SIL bday. We might be there at the same time!!!It is moderately busy at that time -never been in Dec but remember it is F&W but we usually only had 10 min waits for rides in most parks. SSR has always been available at the 11 month widow for us at this time of year and we always book then just to be safe. F&W is a great experience-it is worth a few extra people in line IMHO!! Weather is usually good low to mid 80s and nice. By the way we usually avoid the Columbus Day crowds too.

We went in mid-October this year. I booked at the 11 month window, but I waitlisted twice for different rooms (couldn't make up my mind) and both wait lists cleared.

The parks were not as busy has they have been during other summer visits. And the weather was definitely nicer! Some attractions were very busy, but fast passes definitely helped.
