Hi everyone, just got home a bit ago.

Its dumping rain, thunder and those bright zig zag things that light up the sky Lots of wind too and several power outages.
Winter is here, the ski lodges are expected to get up to 20 inches of snow out of this storm.

Chrisitne, thats great your got your Palos reservations ok.

I am tired so will check back tomorrow after I get a good night sleep. I just wanted to check in.

Your storm has arrived. We had record rain fall yesterday and it appears that it will continue today.

I finally had to turn on the furnace yesterday as the night time temperatures have been just above freezing. During the day it only gets up to around 50 degrees. The weatherman says we could start seeing snow as early as tonight or tomorrow.

Chayce is ready for the snow to start flying so he can start snowboarding again, but I'm not quite ready yet.

I like the way Shell thinks!!!!

I hate to say it but I'm thinking we are going to have a ton of the icky white stuff this year since we haven't had rain in months. I'm guessing it's saving itself up for this winter, just to punish me. DH and the kids love the stuff though, so they would be extremely happy.

We also got a post card and DCL info booklet today in the mail. I love getting mail from DCL!!! Carnival never sent us the first thing, so getting the mail is always fun because I never know what will be in the box!

On another note, would anyone know how to get my kids some DCL pins? I'd like to give them to them before we go, but all I can find are the ones from a long time ago with the dates on them... TIA!

ebay is the only place I know where you can get DCL pins outside of the ship. Sometimes my mall will have collectors selling their stuff and I have found DCL pins there too.

so jealous...RCCL doesn't have cruise docs, all you get is an email. You even have to request actual luggage tags.

Thanks everyone!!! I will try Ebay... Speaking of trying... This is what MIL and I tried this weekend. I told her I just wanted to do them because they looked cool... I still don't think she has a clue that we are taking her on vacation yet...

Izzy is still here. Mom gets back here on the 11th. Part of me is looking forward to her leaving and the other part, is going to be so sad I know I will miss her so much. but I am totally exhausted and sore....plus my house is a mess, I havent had time to clean around here. That part is really driving me crazy. But I am so enjoying her....I love watching her play and her facial expressions are priceless. Oh well, enough "grandma" talk.

5 more days and we will be at 1 year.....I cant believe it. Its really going to move fast now.
