Hi all,
I just got back from visiting my mom today. It always takes about 6hours to go, visit an hour and return. Long day but worth it.
Had a good visit accept just before I was going to leave while i was nealed by moms chair another lady came by, stopped by me,s tarted screaming at an Aide and then started hitting me and pulling my hair

Being she was old and weak it didnt hurt at all but it scared my poor mom to death . She of course thought the lady had hurt me. The aide and nurse got her away fast and said she had never done that before.
I guess i just have that effect on people.

My mom said Shes crazy!!!! Little did mom know she was right in a sense, Dimentia does take away her mind.
So after we got through that she went to lunch and I left to come home and enjoy our 75 degree day.

Today at work, I had to call and set up hospice on a patient. That's always sad when we have to do that. But the family seemed very ok and ready to do this.

We did get a portion of our garden done today....next weekend, while I'm in colorado, I believe Wally is going to finish getting the area ready and then plant our tomatoes and peppers...I havent had a garden in 2 years...since we had the house on the market for awhile I just never did one....so am looking forward to some nice home grown tomatoes....

Tomorrow just going to hang around the house and get some things done and ....then I am going to start packing. Actually this should be a breeze since is only for 2 days.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! Doing the never ending task of dishes and here. Having a Survivor season finale party tonight. Can't wait to find out who is the winner.

Had a great weekend, caught up on laundry and cleaning but at least it's done.

We had amazing weather all weekend long, got lots of sun. Should be pretty nice the rest of the summer.

Evening all:

Well this weekend sure went by fast. Got a lot done yesterday. It's chilly and rainy out here today. Yesterday I was wearing shorts and today I have my sweats back on. But we are going to be in the 80's this weekend...but I will be in colorado.....altho they are calling for warm temps there also.

Welll I guess I better post a pic or two.

we had the same weather. It was 75 yesterday and just beautiful but today is cold and rainy. Only difference its going to be colder and wetter for as far as they can predict. So we arnt going to get nicer like you.
