Morning all,

well its still raining but they are still saying a dry weekend here.

Today my MIL goes in for some tests to find out her problem. I hope they figure it all out with an easy solution for her.

Nothing else going on here. Very quiet day today.
Guess I should sit back and relax.

Yesterday I watched the 2008 Bananahead cruise video that Steve made for everyone. That brought back such great memories of that trip.

I know, I watched it a couple of weeks ago....it did bring back tons of memories.....all were good!!!
Were going to have to all meet up at the Radisson again this cruise....that was a fun day....

well it was pouring rain this morning and now the sun is finally coming out and 60 today...... I should be out instead of stuck in this building working!!

nothing much else is going on...only 45 more days and its back to colorado... this will be for Isabella's first birthday...grandpa Wally is coming with on this trip out....he hasnt "meet" her yet and is really looking forward to seeing her. Plus I brought out her birthday out a couple of weeks ago its her disney princess outfit....so Kathy, wait until you see it...might have to get something for your new grandaughter.....

Well most of the snow is melted off my lawn. Just a small patch here and there remaining.....will probably be gone by days end.

Not much else going on around here. No plans for the weekend. I'll probably drag the luggage out next week and start packing for our cruise.

I hope your able to have a good visit with your mom this weekend Kathy.

Denise, when are we going to see pictures of your new furniture?

We had some snow mixed with rain this mornng.


Greg, I am hoping for a good visit too. The last couple of months have been pretty good for visits. Lots of crazy stories but they are usually funny and she is happy to visit and tell them. As long as she is happy, thats what counts.
I want to stop at the bakery and take her a donut this time. I usually bring cookies and a piece of candy, so this time I will take a donut and a piece of easter candy.

Well I see I got the top page and didnt even know it till now!!!

OK, I just took pictures of the family room and I will need to download them..
but I still dont have valences on my windows or something on my coffee table, still working on that aspect.....I will try and down load this weekend and post....

It's been raining here all afternoon...after I posted it became cloudy then rainy....its still in the 50's but we are getting lighting and thunder around here....ahhhhhh spring is right around the corner!!! dont forget to spring ahead this saturday.....

Finally found some time to post! I have been in Haiti doing volunteer work for project medishare, the tent hospital in Port-Au-Prince. So far I have been there twice. Got the cruise offically booked! Now gotta fill up the time waiting for the cruise! we are so excited, haven't cruised since 2007.(I think). So far we have 6 rooms booked. We are cruising with family, kinda likew a mini family reunion.

I figured I scared everyone away since not many have been posting


Well guys no dry weekend like they predicted for us.
It dumped rain all night with strong winds and its still that way and will stay until sunday. The wind was so strong the noise it made last night actually scared the dogs and kept me awake.


I am going to get to visit my mom tomorrow and Greg will see his mom for a few minutes too. They still dont know whats wrong with her so she goes back to swallow a pill thats actually a camera next week so they can have a good look at everything.

Denise, what's this 587 days till we cruise business? I'm leaving in 13 days and then again in 283 days.

All the snow is melted off my yard. I might even need to mow the lawn when we get back from our vacation?

Kathy, I guess I'll tell my voodoo witch doctor to go ahead and let some sun and warm weather into Oregon. Since I'm such a nice person.

Janel and I have been debating about this B2B cruise. We had booked the 4 day segment, but then canceled it.

What we may end up doing is just staying the night at the Radisson with everyone, but then either doing an Oasis cruise or flying out to the Turks & Caicos for a couple of weeks.

At least doing the Radisson would be fun......we had a great time there in 2008.....when I saw Shell walking in front of the hotel luggage carrier and it was full of booze, I knew that the party would be good... I'm not sure who else is coming along this trip.....
I'm only doing the 4 day....not the b2b. I'm looking forward to it, but at the same time I know its only 4 days and the time will fly by....guess I'll book a 7 day on the new ship fantasy for 2012

hi all,

we had sun today too even though we wernt suppose to and there was snow all the way down the freeway to Salem on the hills along the way.
They really looked pretty.

Had a good visit with my mom. I took her a donut and you'd of thought I brought her a million dollars she was so excited. She ate every bite of it too.

MIL was feeling better today and starting to eat a bit now. just waiting fo r more tests next week.
Tired now and I still need to do the breakfast dishes.

Glad to hear you had a nice visit with your mom Kathy.

Not much going on here.

Making last minute arrangements for next week. I got our hotel booked for our pre-cruise stay a few minutes ago. Now I just need to hire some transportation to and from the port.

I'm hoping my hands will be ready by next week. The incisions are still fairly sore. The palm of the hand isn't a good place to be cutting.

The sun finally came out a few minutes ago here. It was cloudy and rainy all day yesterday....just a ucky day....today started off overcast and gray but no rain....now the sun is peeking out

Not much really going on here just doing and then gonna watch a movie...Old dogs, I just picked it up today.

Making a meatloaf for dinner and thats about it for today....then I get to start mentally preparing myself for the upcoming work week....

Hey everybody.
Just back from NYC where I spent most of the last week. Did some business and had some fun.

Lizzie either broke or severely sprained a bone in her forearm and has a cast on. Hope they are only going to leave it on for 2 weeks. - they are actually going to take it off and check at that time and decide if they need to recast it or not. They don't think it is broken, but after a couple of days just using a splint, it started to get very swollen, so they casted it. So she's out of commission for swimming for a while but we are hoping that if they don't need to recast it, she'll be good to go for our Disney trip in March. Otherwise she is going to be a bit uncomfortable on that trip.

Have barely gotten 4 hours sleep the last 2 nights as I flew home very early Sat. morning had to work a swim meet today so I'm beat and ready for a long winter's nap.

Our snow is all melted. Amazing how quickly those 3 plus feet went away. When I left for NY on Wed., we probably still had a solid 10-15 inches on the ground but when I returned on Saturday it was gone. We were so tired of seeing it that even looking at the muddy mess out in our back yard (we're building a pool) is a welcome change.

Howdy all,

Greg you might want to take some pain pills just in case on your trip. Even if it helps you to sleep better. Maybe you can wrap it to protect it from getting bumped whenyour out on an excursion. That might help??


Jeff,

I am so sorry to hear Elizabeth hurt her arm. Luckily kids seem to heal up faster than adults. Although when my kids broke bones I think I hurt worse than they did.
Do you remember Lorna and John and their 2 girls? She was Firemans wife. Their daughter Jordyn fell last week over her bikes handlebars and fractured her jaw. An oral surgeon rubber banded it together for now, so she is on a liquid diet and very uncomfortable.

Heres some pixie dust for Elizabeth and Jordyn to feel better soon.


The sun is out here today but kinda chilly still.
Greg is working a tthe home show all day today and then will help tear it down tonight.
