Howdy everyone,

Pixie howls like a wolf in her sleep sometimes and wakes herself up. The look on her face is priceless as she wonders what happened??

gotta run , I need to fill the gas tank today before the price of gas jumps up again.;)

Kathy

:lmao::lmao: that is too funny

Well I was the lucky person today and got to work check-in desk at work today.....its not bad, but we have to make sure our drawer balances and we have spread sheets....geeesh, you would think they dont trust a person. But working the desk really wears you out. I like sitting at my desk, all by myself and not dealing with patients face to face......;)

another sunny beautiful day here today....tomorrow warmer, then the weather changes and we start to get some rain and snow and temps only in the low 40's....yuk....but at least saturday is the first day of spring so this wont hang around too much longer.

well have a good one all...

:banana::banana::banana::banana:

Kathy, I suppose it's better to have the dogs snoring rather then the spouse. :rotfl2:

Denise, hows the knee doing?

Our tempt went up to 62 degrees today. It felt great to walk around outside without a coat. :cloud9:

The scab came off the incision on my right hand today. I thought it was going to leave a terrible scar, but it looks really good. Another couple of weeks and it maybe difficult to see any evidence of surgery.

I've been able to fall asleep (and stay asleep) every night for the past week without needing any pain meds or sleep aids....which I haven't been able to do for almost two years.

The incisions on both arms are still sore and tender (probably because the cuts went clear to the bone) but they are healing nicely. :thumbsup2

Greg, sounds like your healing up very nicely.:thumbsup2

The spouse snores too. I think Minnie learned it from him.:lmao:

I get a saranade every night from those 3 varments!!

I am going to get ear plugs one of these days. I usually put my head under the covers and hope to fall asleep before all the snoring starts.
But that howl will wake everyone up, its so loud:rotfl2:

Had a nice sunny but cold day today. The wind was terrible so it felt really cold outside.:cold:
Tomorrow will be the same accept i hope the wind doesnt come.
catch ya tomorrow,

Kathy

Morning all,

its below freezing this morning. It will warm up later today but all the nights are bitter cold still. I am so tired of being cold.
I think this year everyone all over the country is more than ready for spring and summer.

I was going to make cinnamon rolls today but in this cool temps the dough wont rise up right, so maybe another day.

Time for dishes to be washed,

back later,

Kathy

Good morning Kathy.

We're a little on the cool side this morning also, but the sun is out and looks like it should warm up later this afternoon.

I need to run into town this afternoon and buy some shoes for Nicole. The ones she got for Christmas she's out grown!

I was going to take Brayden and Holly up flying with me today. I've got to survey the river and canal system now that the snow has melted, but it's a little to windy.....maybe tomorrow?

Hello everyone

Another beautiful day here. It's going to be 80 today. Think I'll go outside and read a little while I'm on my break just don't know if I will want to come back in.

Afternoon all:

Well heading out shortly to take Jack to the vet for his routine care.....

Beautiful sunny day, the minute I got home Jack went on the deck and layed there for over 2 hours just enjoying the sunshine.

Makeing cornbeef and cabbage today.....yes, I know yesterday was St. Patty's day....but I knew I was home early today, and could keep on eye the on dinner...even in the crockpot.....smells good in here.

nothing much else going on

later all

:banana::banana::banana::banana:

Woohoo! First night I've got to soak in our hot tub since my surgery.

I feel so relaxed now! :cloud9:

Good night all!

Morning all,

Christine 80 sounds awesome!!

we are suppose to get to 65 today but we are starting out at 30 and everything is iced over this morning. We have one more nice day before the rain returns:sad1:

Hi Denise,
I hope Jack had a good check up:thumbsup2

Greg,

I am glad you finally got to sit in hot tub. They do feel really good.

Are you packed for your cruise yet? it is so close you should be getting ready now.:cool1:

My washer just shut off so its time to take the clothes of the dryer,:laundy:

Kathy

Hello everyone.

Kathy, I thought I'd get the luggage out today and start packing, but it's such a nice day I think I'll wait until Monday.

Brayden is getting really excited for his 6th birthday on Wednesday. I thought I'd call Royal Caribbean and have them decorate our cabin and bring him out a birthday cake at dinner our first night to make it special for him.

Not much going on today. The kids are out of school, so we're just doing some spring cleaning getting ready to fly out on Thursday.

Evening all:

nothing much going on here.....kinda slow on the boards today.

Went out after work with a few of my "old" friends. We worked together years ago, one of the girls moved to arizona and she came in for a week. had a really good time. It was fun to catch up.

Checking in....Ja Rule is a family friend, and will be traveling with us. She is bringing her mom, sister, and 2 nephews! So far we have 30 people sailing with us! We usually stay at the Residence Inn. We always fly in the day before out cruise, hurricane Jeanne taught us that!

Hi everyone,
gosh this thread was quiet all weekend.:confused3

Greg came home early friday and said lets spend the weekend at the coast instead of going for the day saturday so in 10 minutes we were packed and on our way .:goodvibes Of course with packing that fast I did forget a couple of things like Gregs razor:rolleyes1

But we had a good time and the dogs got to run and play on the beack a lot, they are still sleeping. They will sleep for 2 days after a weekend of running on the beach.

I got a few photos, especially of the elk we saw. I will share them this week. They came out really nice.

Now I am tired and need to relax, Ha Ha!!

catch everyone tomorrow,

Kathy

Welcome Ja Rule and Family:cheer2::cheer2:

We stayed at the Radisson last cruise and loved it. This cruise we are going to stay at WDW because we loved the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot and MNSSHP. Right now the plans are to get in on Friday night.

Morning all,

Hi Christine, your here bright and early today:thumbsup2

Greg is probably busy packing for his cruise. I am still waiting for my plane and cruise ticket to arrive so we can join Greg?:confused3

Denise did you get your tickets yet?
I am beginning to think Greg isnt going to adopt us this time. :sad1:

I cant understand that, after all we are so sweet, kind, agreeable, fun to be with, quiet, shy, intelligent.....
Maybe he is jealous that we would show him up with all our smarts and good looks?:rolleyes1

Raining today. Oh well we had a good weekend,
back later,

Have a good day all,

Kathy

Hey everyone.

Getting ready for our WDW trip this week! Can't believe it's only a few days away. I have a biz trip to NJ on Wed/Thurs so I'm cutting it close getting back since our flight leaves at 8 a.m. Friday for Orlando!

Have all our dining reservations set, including Le Cellier, Tutto Italia, Narcoossees, Whispering Canyon, 1900 Park Fare and Chef Mickey's. Staying at Bay Lake Tower for the first time and we have a one bedroom which is a luxury for us since we normally just book a studio to save the points. Hoping to have some good park days, and at least one day of just chilling at the pool. Ready to see the mouse!

Sounds like fun Jeff,
I love Chef Mickeys for dinner. We took grandkids there many times.
The weather should be much better than your last COLD visit.:goodvibes

Kathy

I'm still waiting for your cashiers checks to arrive so I can buy your tickets? I hope you have a tracking number. :rolleyes1

My kids gave me their money for their tickets a couple of weeks ago. Your not going to be treated any differently because your "adopted kids".

I did get the luggage out last night, but that's all I did. I probably won't start serious packing until Wednesday night.

I've got a packing list on the computer that I print out and we can be packed and ready to go in about an hour.
