Been away from the DIS for a couple of weeks. Anybody planning on doing the Castaway Cay 5K? We did our first 5K on Thanksgiving. About 3000 of us in the cold and rain. But we finished, and we ran the entire time, and we felt like we accomplished something.

Hi everyone. What a busy thread. We just left the Magic this morning after a truly great 7 night western...we booked the Disney Dream, 10/30/11 while onboard. 330 days to go. It will be myself (Stephanie)-13th DCL, DH-Peter-11th DCL, DD Kayla (7)-8th DCL.

***We only booked the 4 night, not the B2B.

We did the 5k yesterday on Castaway Cay, myself, DH, and DD (6). We will porobably do the 5k for this cruise as well.

Nope that is too much like excercise...I just sit the a hammock and have them serve me drinks...

My name is Denise and traveling with Wally....this will be my 3rd and Wally's 2nd Disney cruise.
Most of us here have traveled together before...we are known as the nanaheads....so you are officially a "nanahead"...long story, but will explain at a later date. Shell (woogal) keeps all the lists...she and her DH are on vacation now, but when she gets back, she will most likely be asking for your info for the cruisemate list.

I got some Christmas shopping done today!! even tho it has been snowing since 10:30pm friday evening. but at least the stores were very empty!! I'm about 1/2 done shopping now!!

Morning everyone! Sorry I haven't been around, we were hanging out with my girlfriend and her kids last night since the kids haven't been around each other in 2 weeks and they are normally together every day! Kids are feeling better, thank goodness!

Welcome Stephanie!!! My DD is 7 also, maybe they will become friends.

My goal is to do the 5k on CC!

Greg, enough sharing already! We have plenty of snow here. Probably not as much as Denise, but more than enough!

Denise, glad you had empty stores shopping! I think for once, I'm all done way early. We went Thursday and I only have 1 person left on my list.

Morgan, since we're leaving this week I've made arrangements to have all the snow storms forwarded ahead.....I just can't stand seeing things go to waste.

Having a great time although cooler than usual here.
Greg I actually came back to watch the game
I heard them announce Marks name once for a nice block he did.


Tonight is the MVMCP at MK. Suppose to have a cold front coming in too, down to the upper 30's tonight

My cold is a bit better but man the landings hurt my ears really bad due ot my cold.

Dont know if you guys know who Corbin Bersen is? He is doing the Processional 2 or3 nights. He was on our plane from L.A. to Orlando.
He plays Shawns dad on Psych if that helps you to know him.
Annyway it was fun to recognise him.

Taking tons of photos, will share when we return.
Oh the new Pizza place at Italy is very good.

Will have internet in about a week again for a day. Will post then,

Hi Kathy. Yeah, Mark is super excited that they're going to the BCS Championship game!

Janel wants to fly down to Glendale for the game, but the tickets are starting out at $550 for the nose bleed section, so I'm not so sure that's gonna happen?!

We've got all of our donation gifts wrapped today. Mom and I wrapped for the little girl and little boy and have our part finished. The other ladies in our family are finishing up their wrapping for the families as well.

Who sent the cold weather down to Florida??? 38 at the bus stop this am, we will see upper 20's tonight. Highs only low 60's/upper 50's. After getting off the Magic Saturday from the western Caribbean, it's really chilly at home.

DD was so excited to be going back to school today. She got all of her work done while on vacation. We even did a journal, complete with pictures, for her special project. That will become a beautiful souvie for many years to come.

Hi everyone! Sorry fell off here for a bit and a little hard to find again. We are so excited to be sailing again. Our last cruise (DH and I) was in 2008 but was not a Disney cruise. I was a travel agent for a few years and got a really good deal on a Carnival cruise to Key West/Cozumel so we went with friends. Problem is after you've been on a Disney cruise everything else just can't compare. The itinerary was great but the ship just so so. So we are back to Disney for our 5th cruise. Last Disney cruise was the member cruise in 06 so we are really ready for this one. I'd always promised my DD to take her on the Disney cruise again when she was an "adult". Last time she was 16 and couldn't enjoy the adult pool or some of the other adult venues. Now she can - YAY! Following up with 4 nights at BCV (all booked) and Food/Wine Fest. Gives us all something to look forward to, first we have to suffer through this winter in the Northeast. REALLY cold yesterday had to break out the down coat

Greg, I'll make a deal with you, I'll take the snow, if you keep the sub-zero temps! It's COLD here and we have barely been out of the house. It's even too cold for my poor kids to enjoy the snow. We are supposed to be getting even more snow on Thursday.
