Glad to hear Pixie's feeling a little better.

Today was spring cleaning day at the Campbell home. We went room to room deep cleaning everything.....looks like a brand new home again.

I did book our air fare to Barcelona today, so we're definitely going to Europe in December. Now I just need to make our hotel reservation for before and after our cruise.

Thats great Greg. Where are you flying out of for the overseas leg of your flight? Any layovers? How many hours in the air for the longest over the ocean part, that's if you have layovers, if not then how long for the entire flight? Which airlines?

I am not Miss Nosey but next September we will be flying to Barcelona too, so I was just curious how your flight plan was . DCL is booking ours but we may change that and book it ourselves to save a few $$.


Dumped rain all night and its still dumping rain. 37 degrees and very windy so its really bitter cold outside this morning.

Greg will be home early afternoon and I will zip out to the store then. I need a puppy break Because on Tuesday the bandages come off and I know it will be one on one all day to keep her from chewing up the stitches.

The minute I went out to get the newspaper this morning, a 2 minute outing to the back of the RV to pickit up she chewed off one whole brown bandage and some of the cernter bandage which is bright red and the white bandage that is actually on the wound was showing about an inch.

Man she was fast. When I came in and saw her in the back hunched down looking up at me with her ears down I knew she had been naughty and she knew it too. I saw chewed up elastic bandage everywhere. UGH!!

So I scolded her and put more new wrapw here she had chewed it off.
That proves even now she cant be left along for even 2 minutes. Once the bandages comes off it will be 100 times worse. So I want a short break this afternoon before getting back to watching her so closely.


I have laundry washing now. I have 4 loads to do, of course my machine does small loads so thats about 2 normal loads.


Greg, I hope your wrists and hands are doing better today.

We're flying on British Airways. We'll fly into LAX from SLC and from there jump on a 747 for a 10 hour flight to London for a 1 hour layover and then a 2 hour flight into Barcelona.....and then the reverse coming home.

Our ship get back into Barcelona on Christmas Eve, but we won't be flying back home until Monday the 27th. We'll spend those couple of days touring Paris and London before coming home.

Sounds like Pixie doesn't like her bandaids.

I sort of thought it would be 10 to 12 hours so I was close.

Pixie got another bandage strip off while I was frosting cinnamon rolls. Luckily i got to her before she could get to the stitches.
She is a speedy gonzales lately
Greg is home now and he will change her bandage soon.

Still pouring rain here. UGH!!

No much going on, just worked on my taxes all weeken I really really really hate tax time.

It finally stopped raining here (it rained 3 days straight), that should be it for the rest of the year .

well today started off nasty,rainy and down right yucky outside plus I dont feel good today. My stomach feels off and i have a headache but it is a great day now because of NO cancer for Pixie and he did get it all. The extra tissue he took around the edge was all good tissue so we know he got it al.

Now to keep her from chewing up her bandages like she has been doing and to keep her from getting her stiches ruined after the bandages come off tomorrow.
he will remove the stitches on Monday the first then I can relax. Until them we are going to be like Siamese twins

Well today my stomach feels better but my head still hurts, mostly pressure across my head and face. I slept good but feel like I was up all night. Hopefully it will be all gone by this evening because Pixie's bandages come off tonight so after that it will be a BIG challenge to keep her away from her stitches.

We have 2 baby booties with the toe cut off and tape them together to go over the area at night. Regular kids socks were too big around so had to resort to booties She is a large dog but has skinny legs at the bottom area. I dont need a headache once I have to watch her for the next week.

I need all the patients I can muster. Wish me luck!! I'm going to need it.

Rain all night but is tapering off this morning and should be mostly a dry day today. Tomorrow is back to rain.

Greg did you see where Beard is injured from a fight and is in the hospital. He was kicked in the head repeatedly. Large group of partying people, drinking was involved but not a lot of details yet. Fist fight that got out of hand I guess? Hope he will be ok. Now there is also a RUMOR that Masoli and another player were caught steeling 2 computers?? I cant figure out what is happening to the team?? Hope it is just a rumor and not true.

Afternoon all:

I finally have a few minutes...altho my computer at home is still down...my family room still empty...I'm having new carpet put in on friday....painting is done....ya gotta love professionals....the painters arrived saturday morning at 7am and were done with my family room, bathroom and bedroom by 11am....with some of the walls requiring 3-4 coats of paint....it looks good, now anxious for my new carpet to arrive. I'm also furniture hunting but havent found anything that has caught my eye yet.

Now here is my exciting story for the week....

Friday here are work, we had a new chart rack installed. So along with 2 others we started moving the charts.....
I have this ring that was left to me, by my great-aunt it was her wedding and engagement rings that she had made into one ring years ago....I always loved the ring and would comment to her that I really liked her ring....so it was put in her will that I would get the ring....she passed years ago and I did get the ring and I wear it daily.....so we are moving charts....time to go home
get home, take the ring off..put in on my dresser, saturday, go to put it on and the diamond is missing..... gone....so I go into a panic and looking all over the house, my jacket, my car etc.....nothing....
so I'm thinking must of lost it while moving the charts....however, the cleaning crew come in on friday and saturday nites....hmmm..either they find it and take it or it gets vacuumed up......

come in on monday tell everyone to be ont he look out for my diamond...checked all around the area....nothing....half checked the chart racks....nothing.....
so finally at lunch time yesterday, one of the girls says, we are going to pull out all the charts and look for the diamond....I didnt want to do that as there are a ton and I do mean a ton of charts.....but she decides to do it anyway...so we empty the first row of charts....and at the end stuck in a crack is the diamond......
I cant belive that it was there.....I was very happy to say the least.....
I really thought I would never see it again....

well I havent had to time go back a few pages and read.....so anything new and exciting?

hopefully will be able to get on tomorrow.....
