Oct 28, 2007, Halloween 4-night cruise on Wonder

Still coughing like crazy, I am about ready to give up. I could use a complete day of rest, but with 2 weeks to go before vacation, I don't see that happening.

Steph, we got our leis today !! They are really cute. I thought they were going to be a hard plastic flower, the soft material is nice. Trevor already had his on, he is "ready for the Disney boat!!"

Lisa, hope Seth had a nice party !! What are your kids favorite Disney caracters?

I think I will be coloring the handy manny tools picture I printed off, so I can add them to a tote bag, for Trevor's "tool box" candy bag. Costume will then be complete !!

YIPPEE!! The poopy head posted finally! LOL (BTW, Scott, change your location in your profile. We don't live in Randolph anymore! LOL)

Any of you who aren't parasailing, wanna hang out on the beach with me and the kids and laugh at Scott?!

When and where to make fun of Poopy Head! I call my DH butt wipe. I wish i could get him on here. Heck he does good to operate the remote sometimes.. LOL...no he is pretty good at it.....but of course aren't all men..
Oh i guess need to watch out on the guy bashing now. not with the poopy head gang now.. LOL:rotfl2:

Cant wait to meet everyone.

OH and to everyone that thank me for you leis you are welcome. Yea i was kinda shocked at them when i got them.. I LOVE THEM

OH yea wanted to say before you know it we will be in single digits...wooohooo

Stephieann - we just got our leis today too!!! I just opened them, and they are adorable!! That was SO sweet of you. Thank you SO much!! :)

We are leaving for Florida 2 weeks from today. Could that be right??? Going to WDW first, of course. Wow, I need to get on the ball and get everything organized. I just feel incredibly UNorganized right now, and have way too much to do. Not sure how I'm gonna pull this off. I guess we'll just be winging some things on our trip. Ya know, I'll just bring our WDW guide book on the plane, and study it and take notes for a few hours, so we make sure we don't miss anything we really want to see.

We thought about doing the parasailing on CC, but weren't sure of weight limits. DH is kind of a big guy. Besides, I begged him to do a dolphin swim with me on Nassau, and that's expensive, so I told him I'd be content with just that one excursion. Trying to be somewhat budget-conscious on a Disney Cruise is not an easy thing to do. I'm sure I'm gonna go crazy on the boat buying souvineers and massages, LOL!

I'd love to get my DH on here, but pretty sure that's not gonna happen. :sad2:

Michele, {{HUGS}} no one's allowed to be sick on vaca!!! Seth's party was fabulous, thanks! I'll have to post pics ASAP. Let's see, characters... Jackie loves all the princesses but is partial to Ariel and Seth loves all of them! LOL Right now he's into witches and pretend ghosts (we've been talking up Haunted Mansion) so his fav movie is Snow White!

John, we have to get you to post more!!!

Steph, lol poor Scott! LOL He actually introduced me to message boards in the first place but never posts (look at both our post counts and when we both joined). He got me on here when we were planning our Disneymoon but has barely posted since (he just lurks and sends me thread links! LOL)

Monique, I forget where you're staying in the parks. We'll be at AKL. We go down on Tues 10/23 and will be at DTD then. Wed we'll be at MK, Thurs at AK, Fri at MGM and Sat at EPCOT.

Trevor has mild asthma, usually only a problem when he gets a cold or bad allergies. I was planning on bringing his inhaler for emergancies, but do you think I need to fill out a medical form for this and fax to DCL? He takes Singulair daily too, and is over his "cold" or allergy so I am not expecting problems.

Do you think there's a chance he might need the medical staff at all? If not, then you can probably get away w/o it. You might want to fill it out just in case though. Better safe than sorry.

Lisa - We're going to be staying 1 night at All Star Movies, then 3 nights at CBR. As for parks, I think we'll be at Epcot the 25th, MGM the 26th and AK the 27th. :)

Yup, the 26th is a Friday. How cool! :cool2: I have no idea what we're doing there that day, but we could always try meeting up sometime if you wanted to introduce the kids. We're doing Chef Mickey's in the morning, but otherwise I have yet to figure out the "must see" attractions at MGM.

Should we have gotten some documents in the mail by this point? I've seen people discussing this, but not sure exactly what should be arriving or when. Any idea?

we will be at MGM on sat the 27th. Bummer. It is a nice park !! You'll have to check out the playhouse Disney attraction. We missed the big stunt car show last time, due to rain, it is a must see this time. Trevor will love it. He is into Cars, cars, and crashing all of them. Muppets 3D is a cute show too, if your kids don't mind the 3D part. At 3 Trevor really liked them all, never scared, but I know some kids freak out alittle. We got some good character pics there too. JoJo, Chicken Little, etc... My parents took Trevor to Voyage of the Little Mermaid show, while DH & I ran to ride rockin' rollercoaster. They said he enjoyed it.

Hey, is anyone bringing water on board ship? We all drink water, especially DH, and want to stay well hydrated in the heat. If the ships water is nasty DS won't drink, and I don't want him just drinking juice. (too much sugar) I hate to have to find room to pack it, but buying on board seems sooooo expensive.

Monique, I'll have to check our schedule. With Seth's allergies, we have to have every meal planned out in advance (ie location and time).

No documents yet....

So we had our 20 week, Level II ultrasound today. The baby looks great and I had good reason for calling this one Little Monkey… OMG there was non stop moving around in there! It was hysterical! We got some fabulous shots of the hands both making fists and looking like we were getting waved at. We also got a cute foot shot and the adorable profile. But the VERY first thing we saw IMMEDIATELY the second the tech put the wand on my belly was the money shot! This kid wanted it to be known! The baby is weighing in at 15 ounces which is exactly a week ahead so we’ll see if we get a big one this time (Jackie was big for her gestational age as well). Everything checked out 100% healthy and fine (including the kidneys!) and all we have to do now is wait until February (well I still have my Gestational Diabetes test and fun stuff like that to go through! LOL)

Anyway, I know you are all dying of curiosity if we saw a hotdog or hamburger so here it is……

I’d like to introduce all of you to…..

The littlest member of our family……

Aaron Logan… IT’S A BOY!!!!!!!!! (and yes, I’m in total and complete shock since I was 100% sure it was a girl!!!)

 Lisa, Congrats!! Boys are fun ( till they hit teens!;) )
DH and I are in 5124, My Dad made our door sign :cheer2: it's too cute:cutie: going to try to hit the meet 1st day, but probably not Tot. My two DS's 15 & 16 are in another cabin (not sure of number but it's written down somewhere!) with my brother :cloud9: Happy vacay to me:laughing: in 14 days we will be On The Road!! can't wait to hug my honey again!! :dance3: :woohoo:  :hippie:

Congratulations, Lisa!!! How cute that he was so wiggly in there. You've got a busy little monkey to contend with. :) Oh, and I can sure understand having to be so careful with Seth's allergies. When you listed the other day what all he is allergic to, my first thought was "is there anything he CAN eat?". :sad1: Poor little guy - that's just scary to me!!!

We got our cruise docs today. And we got upgraded from Cat 12 to a Cat 9 room. WOOHOOO!!!!!! :cool1: We are in room 2006. Still down in the bowels of the ship, but I'll just be happy to have a window!

Hey, does anyone know the count for how many kiddos we're going to have for our pre-ToT meet-up? Also, Lisa, can you remind me what type of candy, if any, is safe for Seth? I mostly want to do non-candy, but thought about puting 1 piece in my bags. I'll skip it, though, if it's too risky.

Lisa, Congratulations!! Of course, I am partial to boys, but very happy for you and your family that the baby looks healthy !! Aaron looks like a cutie!! Trevor spent most of his gestational period kicking me. He was only 5lb 7oz when born, so he had skinny legs and room to move. Ouch!!
Like Monique I was really surprised over all Seth's allergies. I am sure planning this trip took some work. I avoided any chocolate in the treat bags, then I didn't have to worry about it melting. I forget what all I put in them...I know there is a little activity pad (now if I could only find some little crayon boxes), a spinning top (Trevor picked those), a noise maker, lollypop, some gummies (fruit snacks), and some softy orange melty pumpkin things.
Did anyone get anything for the CM of the club? You read all these posts and don't know what to do. I know Trevor will spend time there, but not live there. So, I bought a bag of individually wrapped Twizzlers, a bag of pouches of jelly beans, 2 decks of cards (at the dollar store) and 2 mini 2008 calanders. I read the stuff sorta goes to everyone, not one person in particular. So, put a thank you card with that. Then thought I would take 2 or 3 other thank yous, we could write out to individual CMs that Trevor really likes.
There is so much to think about and plan for, I am exhausted, and still coughing (at 4am ). All my DH has to do is have gas in the car, be the driver to the airport, and follow my well mapped out plan. (Oh yeah, he is in charge of preparing the electronic equipment, aka:cameras, after I remind him 3 times and drag around the heaviest luggage.)

Thanks everyone!! I have a feeling I'm going to have another Seth on my hands (non stop ALL BOY!!) But that's ok!!

As for Seth's allergies, he can't have: dairy (i.e. chocolate but who's going to bring that anyway in case it melts?), nuts or any kind, wheat, eggs, seeds, pineapple (doubt anyone's putting that in their bags either! LOL) and those are the main things. He can have: sugar, artificial flavorings, all the junk they put in candies! LOL Therefore lollipops, fruit snacks (that don't have pineapple juice in them), Smarties, stuff like that. He hasn't had any sucking candies yet (neither has Jackie) just because of their ages.

I think I got small things of play doh, lollipops, small packs of Smarties (or similar candies), little toy jumping frogs and 1 other thing for our bags.

I feel pretty good about what I bought. Really it is things I normally put in treat bags. I never buy hard "suckie" candies either, except for lollipops, and mine are small, like a dum dum, but by a different company. I tried to keep in mind that most of the kids are small (under 5), the older ones will eat just about any candy you give.
If most of you are like us, you go through whatever the kids get and give them what you feel is appropriate, then the rest is for you !! I do eat most of Trevor's Snickers candies, but for no other reason then I like them !!

Lisa, your treat bag assortment sounds good, Trevor loves playdoh. He got a play/storage station for Christmas last year. I hate the smell of it, so he plays with his daddy mostly.
