Oct 28, 2007, Halloween 4-night cruise on Wonder

Pardon the intrusion, folks. I found out that a boy in DD's 4th grade class is going on this cruise. It's their 1st Disney cruise and the mom (love her to death) isn't planning anything. (which, I know, is foreign to all of us). Anyway, I was wondering if there were any families from Southern California going on this sailing.

The kids are 9,7, and 4.

Trying to get my DH to get on here too. We would then have a 2Jaz and a TooCool. He uses the name toocoolpool on most of his screen names.

All leis have been mailed out, today. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU GET THEM. I do have tracking numbers on them.

In 21 days we will be sitting in sunny Florida!!!

Hi gang !! Haven't been posting much in the last week or so, have been really sick. Not sure if it started out as allergies or a cold, but I coughed about 18-20 hours out of a day for a week. Nothing helped, but DS's inhaler. My ribs and throat hurt so much from coughing. Yesterday was the first day it hasn't been so bad.
Anyway, is anyone dropping something off at desk for autographs. I have read alot about pillowcases, etc... and they autograph them alot nicer then the ones from the characters. I decided to do picture mats. looked around several places and found the best thing at Walmart. It is called a "signature event mat". The mat I got fits an 8"x10" frame and holds a 4"x6" pic. so there is alot of frame to sign on. they also had a mat for a 10"x13" frame. And, the one I bought was only $3 or $4. I bought a few other mats too, but wanted to let everyone know about these....
THe only thing I have done for this trip is my treat bags !! Yikes!!

Thanks on the info on the mat. I was heading out today to go to walmart (have to plan for this trip, closest walmart 30 minutes away). Will have to look for them.

your closest Walmart is 30 minutes away? Yikes, I am not a big fan of the company, but if I drove 30 minutes I'd probably past at least 3 , plus a target or 2. We must live in an overly commercialized area !!

the 8x10 mat you got was 3 or 4, i got the bigger one for 2.88 at walmart...same brand you mentioned

it might have been about that price, I looked at several mats and ones already in frames that day. Pretty nice for the price !! I was thinking of having one made at the craft store, it would have probably cost about $20. I got a frame (looks like oak wood) w/ mat for DS's room that is longer (horizonal), it has 2 horizonal picture slots and then one vertical in the middle (or vice/versa), probably hold 3x5's. THought it would go great over his bookshelf (about 4 & 1/2 ft high) that holds some Disney memorabilia. I swear it was less than $8.

Well, i will have to find the frame later. I am not sure what picture we will have done to put in the frame.

We did our cruise shopping this weekend. we got travel size items, sea sick meds, iron on stuff to make tshirts--finally got the old printer working good enough. not sure if it will make a magnet yet or not. Going to print the irons on first want the t-shirts more than i want the magnets.

can you believe it ... less than 3 weeks. woohoooo!!!

WOO HOOO we leave 2 weeks from today! OMG it's suddenly so real! We've been talking about this trip for 5 years and really planning it and having it booked for just over a year and now it's only 2 weeks away!!

I am Scott, LisaFB's husband. I have been called a "Poopy Head" and have been continually harrassed by my wife to post...so here I am. Popping in to say hello.

Can't wait for the cruise. Like Lisa said, we have been planning this for five years and in five more years we will be renewing our vows on the ship. I am sure that will be here before we know it.

Quick question.....anyone here parasailing in CC? I am scheduled for 10:30 I believe and am goign solo due to Lisa being PG. I have never been and I can hardly wait to try it out.

I'm parasailing in CC at 3PM. I'll be going solo as well. DW has no real desire to try it. A friend that we're traveling with is also scheduled for 3PM, so hopefully we can trade off video duties as we each take flight.
