Oct 24th, 4 nights on the Wonder... who's in

OK ... packed - check ... FE prepared - check ... cruise docs printed - check ... sleep? Bother, knew I'd forgotten something!

I'm nearly 2am here and I'll be on the plane in 8 hours!!! So the next time I log in I'll be in Orlando! (I can't find a 'too excited to sleep' smilie.)

So jealous of those of you leaving today and tomorrow. I have to wait until Saturday which seems like FOREVER away. DH and I both having really tough weeks at work. Cannot wait for it to be over and I can just say "all can go down the tubes, I will be floating away!" I have half a suitcase packed, DD clothes in piles and FE in piles. Lets say, halfway there. DH is on his own! How many more minutes

I have had a really bad week-1500.00 in medical bills for my poor little pug. Pregnancy swelling is starting (look for me, I'll be the big, miserable one!), and Dh is travelling at the moment. Add in Girl Scout stuff, school stuff (for my kids), 3 doc appts....and well...that is my week! I really want a margarita!

I can't believe we will be on the ship in 72 hours. We are all packed (just working on the misc things), we arejust trying find room for the FE exchange stuff. The kids are so excited. We see you all at the 3pm.....

Packing almost done-brain going between panic and "whoo Hoo"! Flying into Orlando Saturday-sunny skies here we come! We're using Disney's trans to the Wonder, so I hope we don't get there really late! We'll see you at 3- if we can find our way! Whew. I think I've got everything packed. I'm afraid to look at my list for fear that I'll have to find room for something I've forgotten.

I was packing clothes and thought I was finished til I realized I hadn't packed any shirts. Somehow I don't think topless would cut it!!

As predicted, DH is asleep with his usual "I'll pack in the morning."

So. Tomorrow morning we take three of the "kids" to "doggy camp," load up the car and the 4th "kid" (who gets to stay w/ Grandma & Grandpa), and head for Orlando! At least with a day and a half at my folks', we can pick up anything we might have forgotten. Anything else, we can live without.

My new itinerary, after a tough week w/ middle-schoolers: Board ship. Get "boat drink." Consume. Repeat until Thursday morning.

Hi! I am up doing the last minute stuff - although most of it is work stuff. We have all of our clothes and FEs packed, but still need to get extra memory cards for the camera, recheck I have everything, load it in car, etc. We leave at noon for the airport (1 and a half hours away). This will probably be my last post before seeing all of you!! Hope everyone has safe travels and I know everyone will have a fabulous time once we are there!

Hello from Orlando!!!!! (Was too tired to post last night - a 23 hour stay awake complete with jeglag after 3 hours sleep is not good - and we've been visiting Hogwarts today! ) Weather is perfect - hot but not 'melt into a puddle' hot and no rain. Tomorrow is shopping (DD16 needs a new fall wardrobe ), packaging up the fish extender pressies (transported un-wrapped as custons always seems to choose one of our bags to search ) and then packing! See you all at 3pm on Sunday - I'll be the one in the luminous pink DCL t-shirt!

Wow! Great trip! Beautiful, perfect weather, great service, memorable trip! I spent way too much time reading all the reviews (many negative) on this and another board, and I won't make that mistake again! Everything about this trip was perfect! Unfortunately we only got to meet Lydia *I recognised her from her picture), but I hope everyone had a magical trip as well! Now, what to do with all my "research and planning" time? I guess I will have to start planning our next adventure!

We are back, went to WDW for a few days and now back in Reality. Have posted some pictures on Facebook and still sorting out the others. We had a great time, the girls did OK, only a few meltdowns. I feel sorry for the passengers in the rooms around us as bed time seemed to be the time for major meltdowns. I didn't meet any other Disers, but we still had a wonderful time.

Hey everybody!

We just got back last night. MNSSHP was great Thurs. night and Food & Wine Fest was awesome! I came down w/ a head cold Friday, but otherwise had a fabulous time!

Dennis and I really enjoyed meeting everyone at the Promenade Lounge, and we wanted to thank everyone for the great FEE gifts. By the way, ours were the rubber duckies and, of course, the flamingos. I couldn't figure out how to label them. Duh.

We booked the WBTA cruise for next September, just in case we can come up with the money for it, and we also booked our "same time next year" cruise on the Dream.

I hope everyone else had as much fun as we did!

Hi all! We were sorry to end up missing the meet, but it was our first Disney Cruise and we ended up going on the tour of the ship at the same time as the meet. We did get to meet Pat & Dennis in their super stylist anniversary shirts! And, we all had the best time ever with the great FEs! That was so much fun and the kids kept chkg it every 20 minutes and usually there was something else in it!

Had a fabulous time and am regretting I cannot just live on the ship....

We had a nice time on the trip. My son really enjoyed the Trick or Treating! (He was on the only Mickey Mouse in costume who wasn't a cast member! I thought he looked adorable and my husband thought I was humiliating him. Poor fella.)

Anyway, I will be honest and say that I don't think we will be cruising DCL again. We are seasoned cruisers and for the life of us we couldn't figure out what set DCL aside from the others, besides the characters.

That being said it was a very memorable trip and we were a bit sad to leave (at 6:45 in the morning!!!!) I want to thank you all for the advice I received while on the boards.

Just got home last night. Spent 4 nights at WDW after the cruise. We had a good time cruising. Even won $126 playing Bingo.... gotta love that game. Enjoyed meeting you guys. karriemouse, I never saw you again after the meet! The FEE was great fun as usual. I was surprised by all the great gifts though. Made me feel kinda cheap with my sticky notes/chocolate candy... ... . I have no idea who gave what. My daughter would grab 'em, take 'em inside and open 'em up before I knew what was what. They were all mixed up in no time! Loved the DCL bags and Silly Bands. We used the red bag on CC and DD and I wore the Silly Bands at WDW. The candy was yummy of course. Lots of useful things! (I always love the bookmarks.) THANK YOU, EVERYONE!! Until we meet again...

Thanks! I thought the graphics would be a bit paler but they turned out great otherwise. You really need to use a marker on them. Pens and pencils just don't show up well. I'm glad you guys like them. I saved a few for myself.
