Oct. 23-28, 2014: Solo and Excited! Solo too? Wanna Meet Up?

Yay!

So I made my solo reservations of POR French Quarters. After reading all of the reviews it sounded like the best of all of the moderates.

These are my tentative plans so far:

Thursday 10/23:
Check in and head straight to MK

Friday 10/24:
HS in the AM, Lunch at Sci Fi (thanks DaisyDuck001!)/Epcot in PM

Saturday 10/25:
AK in the AM/Epcot in the PM

Sunday 10/26:
MK in the AM/Epcot in the PM

Monday 10/27:
Epcot in the AM/PM is open

Tuesday 10/28:
Check out

If anyone is going to be there during those times and wants a park, dining, or F&W buddy, let me know. I get along well with individuals, groups and even small mobs. I will have a park hopper so I am flexible with my schedule as well.

I'll be around while you're down in WDW. Splitting my time between solo and spending some time with relatives. Don't forget to check out the F&W schedule when it's released towards the end of summer. A lot of the daily seminars and demos can be a lot of fun. My schedule is sort of in flux due to not knowing the F&W schedule yet. Also, the whole FP+ thing really can muck things up with pre-scheduling, but see some responses from me below in RED

I arrive Thursday morning. I have dinner with relatives at Raglan Road, but I'm targeting to hit MK for a bit before dinner. Maybe a FP+ for the Mine Coaster?? So I may be around the MK as well

Friday 10/24:
HS in the AM, Lunch at Sci Fi (thanks DaisyDuck001!)/Epcot in PM

Currently planning for MK Friday morning, with BOG lunch with relatives. If they offer the 3D Dessert Party this year for F&W, I'll also be in Epcot for the evening to do the party ... it was one of my favorite F&W events. A ton of good alcohol and food, followed by reserved Illuminations viewing! The Sweet Seats option was a bit pricey, but I highly recommend it if they offer it again this year!

Saturday 10/25:
AK in the AM/Epcot in the PM

No idea what my plans are for Saturday, but I'm thinking towards Jellyrolls / Boardwalk on Sat. night if some DISer folks are interested. You may be a little crazy hitting Epcot on Saturday during F&W unless you're doing Party for the Senses. FRIDAY NIGHTS THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOONS ARE CRAZY CROWDED AT F&W!


Sunday 10/26:
MK in the AM/Epcot in the PM

Like Saturday, keeping Sunday open for now ... waiting on F&W schedule and seeing what all the DISers are up to if they're around

Monday 10/27:
Epcot in the AM/PM is open

Mondays are THE BEST crowd days for drinking/eating up the World Showcase during F&W. I'll be spending the day at Epcot on Monday as well. I have dinner with relatives at Via Napoli, but besides that, I'm around to hang out. If you need a F&W buddy for Monday, say no more ... I'm there.

SeAlla, fellow solo traveler here! I arrive in WDW on the evening of the 26th so not able to do much that night but we could probably hang out on the 27th. Right now, my plans are to attend EMH AK for about 2-3 hours then head over to Epcot to snack around F&W for lunch. Are the booths even open @ 11? I will also have a PH so open to other possibilities in the afternoon.

Yep, the F&W booths open around 11-11:30 AM. Hopefully we can get a group of folks together for 10/27 to do the World Showcase. La Cava opens at noon, and it's always a fun place to kick things off with a good margarita. October is a while off, but if there's some DISers around, hopefully we can organize some meets. I think this will be my 9th F&W fest, so I'm starting to become quite the F&W vet
