Oct 16th, 100th anniversary date.. are you expecting s’thing extra special at the parks?

Would you expect something special at the parks on the date itself?
Or the 100th celebration is this 18th month “theme”?

DL did dedication ceremonies and special appearances and shows for the people at the parks on the anniversary dates; WDW really didn’t on Oct 1st.

I’m on the fence about traveling to DL on that date

What would be the best most extravagant thing that it could happen that date?

Perhaps that will be the annual Disney+ Day
I expect there will be buttons at the gates (free) and a special 100th pin (for sale), and not much else

If they do do anything special (or perhaps even if they don’t) I would expect lots of cloggers and instupiders to be there trying to generate “content.” I say this in case that type of thing or the crowds surrounding it would be a deterrent for you (it is for me, I now avoid opening days of anything.)
