Yippee!! We have a 5 pm flight!!! Its finally here! Its raining and cold here in PA...hoping for some sunshine!!:cool1: I'll report in when I get back to let you know how the swap went!

Don't freak yet, but the fridge is at the moment lost. I am working on finding it. I spoke to a real nice CM today at POP who at 4pm was looking for it for me. She was supposed to call me back. She didn't.

I just spoke with the night manager and they have to wait for the morning manager for luggage services to arrive.

Keep your fingers crossed that I find this fridge.
 
There was another thread here that lost their fridge. It has been gone for the last 5 days then yesterday is reappeared?????hmmmmmm could it be ours???? Good luck.
 
Any news on the fridge yet? Just curious? That really stinks! Keep us posted hopefully it will resurface.
 
Still no fridge, but they did comp cruisekat with a fridge for the week for the trouble.

I really feel when I am talking to these people that they are sincere and are trying to help me, but I don't get call backs. GRRRRRR!


I think it was given to someone else, it was left on the 26th, and on the
27th it was gone!

Then they refuse to give scrapper a claim ticket so there's no proof they have it.

It's just frustrating.

People are pulling out, I have to make the changes on the list.

Our next option is to purchase another one.

Tomorrow we can discuss this.
 
I'm gonna call Pop one last time. I'll post what ever info they tell me this time. If there is no fridge, I guess our next option is to purchase a new one.

I'll hold everyone's spot on the list and we need to decide somehow what to do.

Please post your thoughts. I've never done this part before. I have ideas, I'd just like to see what others think first.
 
Sounds good! And I think it maybe a good idea if you get the frig back or get a new one that you get the next person in line to look on the frig for a serial number most have them!:idea: And write it down this could be a good way to track it if it is lost! Or if someone has a mini engraver on the back of the frig engrave the Swaps name on it. Then there would be no question if it got lost and they found it who it actually belonged to! And Monymony you could actually get them to put your name on there w/ a number to contact you if you chose. I work in shipping & Recieving and the appliances we get in normally have a serial number but either would work and I think it actually maybe a good idea ! Just a suggestion. Do you know why they refused to gove her a claim ticket? :confused:And what about the other swap that regained their frig the day this one was lost? There would probably be no way to proves it was this swaps frig anyway right?:sad2:
 
If we can't fine it I can get a new one when I go (on the 12th). The next people in line could chip in 10.00 through paypal. I think they rund around 115.00 or so with tax.:lmao:
 
I don't mind chipping in for a new one. My concern is now POP luggage storage - why would they refuse to give a claim ticket? I would hate for us to buy a new fridge, only for it to go missing right away. :sad2:

And that's a great idea about writing down the serial number goofy. My DH suggested that last night, I was going to mention it today!
