We've got a van so transporting the fridge won't be a problem. Just wanted to make sure this was ok before I requested my days. We'll be there oct 26-nov 2. Thanks!!!

This swap is for people staying at the Pop Century. I'm not sure if there is a swap going for Ft. Wilderness. You could ask a question on the budget boards to see if anyone is interested in starting one.

No, unfortunately there are no swaps for Ft. Wilderness. I'm part of a stroller swap where the stroller is based out of a value resort but is available to anyone as long as you return it to the value resort when you are done. I don't see why the fridge swaps would be any different. I've contacted numerous fridge swaps and I've been turned away from almost all of them. The others just don't return my pms. It's very frustrating. I would love to start my own but I just don't have the $$ or the room for it. Driving our van with our tent camping gear and racing gear. No room for a fridge. Sigh. Guess I'll just have to make do with a cooler and ice. Thanks for the suggestion though.

What people do to get started is take up a collection from those interested and then order it and have it shipped to the resort. Then you pick it up when you get there and leave it for the next paying guest.

Most only wind up paying 5-10 dollars.

Fridges are kinda heavy to transport when you are relying on Disney transportation. That's why we keep ours at POP. I hate to say no to anybody, but I have to consider the awkwardness of getting a fridge somewhere when you don't have your own car.

So how come you aren't going the following week for Free Dining? Just curious because 2 of your days are during free dining but you need three to get the free dining it is a Great Value!

No, My DD18 and I decided these date was better for us, Plus I don't think it will be that crowed then.
I changed dates and even added an extra night
