Oct. 12, 2013 - WONDERful cruise from Galveston

Our family has been wondering a couple of things:
1. What is the depth in the Goofy pool? (Our boys are on the short side for their ages so they wanted to know if they would be able to touch bottom).
2. Does the drinking water taste? (Every Carnival ship we have been on the drinking water always seems to have a moldy taste).

Thanks!

The Goofy pool is a max of 4' deep. All depends on how tall your kids are, but it is definitely a kid friendly pool.

I like the drinking water -- we bring our own cups and we drink tons of it. We were glad that we didn't buy a case of water to bring on board. No need for us.

Enjoy!

We like the drinking water as well. Had no problems with the taste.

Good to know about the goofy pool. I thought it was deeper, but double checked on the DCL website and it is 4 feet.

The goofy pool closes during shows its we're they host the parties like the sail away and the pirates party.

We like the water from drink station, we bring a refillable bottle fill it before we go back to the cabin because the tap water isn't great.

I think Dramamama has dropped out. I will post a prlinary list over the 4th of July4th weekend for the Fish Extenders. I also think we should set a deadline for sign up around Sept. 20.

Also is anyone interested in a mixology class? This includes 1 hour with an open bar. If so message me and I will contact DCL. I believe we need 25 people to book this experience.

Our family went to WDW this past July. My family accuses me that I am never going to get off the Disney High. I told them, why should I. It will be great to be around other people who get as excited about Disney as I do.

I also have been reading, but I think hearing from veteran cruise people would be the most beneficial.

In advance, thanks for the tips and advice.

I'm looking forward to meeting you!!

I haven't lost it in 20 years. Disney lets us all be kids at heart.

I think your dates will work just fine! Thank you for keeping up with the list. Since I am making our gifts, a prelim list would be great!

Has anyone played bingo on the ship? My husband keeps asking me about how much it costs. If you have what did you think about it?

Thanks
Mandy
