This past week we saw fares of $222 on Tuesday about 8pm ET. I knew if I didn't book them now they might be gone. Yes, looked on Thursday and they were up to $430 again.


Good luck. I feel better about spending $664 instead of $1500 for our flights.

I found this to be the case too. We're flying from Reno. It's crazy that the prices can jump around that much in a matter of just a few days! I was seeing prices from $330 - $540 pp. So when I saw it for $270pp I just booked it. I don't think it will go much lower than that for us. But there is no way I'd pay over $500 pp to fly to TX from NV. I can fly to Hawaii for cheaper than that!

I have to give our experience... We were watching for flights into Houston. Going between Hobby or George Bush airports and was going to depend on which flight we could get into the Houston that would not cost an arm and Leg.

From Tus to IAH or HOU was looking like it was going to be at least $500/person and maybe we could have got it close to $399/person.

Been checking Kayak.com and Bing/travel each Tuesday - Thursday afternoon.

Would have loved to do SWA, but unfortunately there was nothing less than $430 RT per person. Still cheaper to do another airline with the luggage fees.

What did you end up figuring out as far as transportation to the boat?

Susan at Lady Bird Limousine will meet us at baggage claim at the airport and will meet us at the port after the cruise. A town car for two is $180. e doubled with another couple and got an SUV for four at $220, so is about $55 per person pick up and drop off. I don't think that's so bad.

Without spending a lot, get the deals when you can. You can always find a cute FE on the ship and drop it in as a surprise.
