Do the kids need drink mugs or signing privledges to get refreshments during the organized activities in the club/lab? Or does Disney provide drinks for the children? Trying to decide if the drink mugs are worth the $$$.

Thanks

In the club, there is only water to drink. They do take the kids for lunch and dinner, outside that nothing. The older kids (I think it's 10, but I could be wrong) can sign themselves out. The younger kids can have you paged and you can sign them out.

DS9 had sign out privledges (with my permission).

I did not purchase the mugs. I made it clear to the kids pre-cruise that there was tea, lemonade and milk available at all times. DH and I also drank tea the entire cruise (well, except for our nightly jaunts to the Promenade Lounge!). Sodas at dinner were a treat!

They gave us the option of letting dd (8) have sign out privledges. We did not--she's very small for her age...more like a 5 or 6 yr old. Mature for her age, so she'd be able to get around, but I'm sure she'd get looks being out by herself.

At the kids club lunches and dinners they gave them fruit punch. That was dd's only choice. She was very bummed as this girl ONLY drinks milk and water. She even can't stand places that only have pop as an option!!

I wonder if that was for just that age group. DD in the 3 yr old group always seemed to have apple juice to drink.
