We are way-way protective and expect that my DD 11 and DS 6 will be with us all the time. However, if they really wanted to check out the lab for an hour or so, what is required? Do you have to do the full registration on baording or can you sign up later? You insight is appreciated.

You will still have to register even if it's for an hour. They'll have fun and you'll be glad you did!

They will even let you stay a while. I would at least let your child experience the club. You may be pleasantly surprised!

You can drop in as a viitor. You will get a sticker that says "VISTOR". and you can check it out. My sister who never lets anyone but our mom babysit let her kids go the the club and they LOVED IT!! You will too!

I would suggest registering them the first day. That way if they decide to go at any time for the rest of the week the paperwork is all taken care of and if they don't want to go back that's fine as well. Let them experience the first night in the clubs. This is when friendships are formed. You can even go with them if you like. CM's don't mind if the parents are there :) As CPM said "You may be pleasantly surprised." HTH

I would definitely recommend registering them for the club. The form is short, you receive a pager in case they want you to come pick them up early and a schedule of activities throughout the cruise. That way, you can pick an activity that may be of interest to them (such as making flubber, stealing Captain Hook's treasure, etc.) and know what day and time to arrive for it. My dd 7 loved it! You are welcome to go into the club at any time and view the activities and talk to your children. I found the care providers were very caring and good with kids. Plus the last night they do a show "celebrate the journey" where all of the kids "graduate" from DCL University on the stage in the Disney theater. They get a t-shirt and grad hat with mickey ears. Mickey and Minnie show up. It was my daughter's favorite activity.
