No. Just check in with the counselors at the beginning of the cruise - our son got a sticker for his KTTW card after they verified his age - and then they come and go as they please.

No, Oceaneer Bands are for those in Oceaneer's Club/Lab. For Edge & Vibe they either give them a different KTTW card or put a sticker on the one they have showing that they are registered in that level club.

This is good info. Our Son was in Edge last time and did wear the band. He hated it. Will be in Vibe this time.

I'm going to assume your son was either 11 or 12 years old, which means he was in the "overlap" age and could attend either the Club/Lab or Edge. He would need the band for the Club/Lab, but not for Edge. He could have taken it off for Edge, though then there's a risk of losing it and being charged. Those age 13 or 14 would not receive the bands at all because they are too old for the Club/Lab.

Yes! he was at the overlap age. Did not want to go hang out with the little kids as that's where his brother was. lol
