Has anyone done this? How do I find out about the departure times. Is it worthwhile to do this in Mid-March??

What else can you tell me about this tour?

My son (12) and I did this in August. We had a blast. They picked us up at HoJo around 9:00 a.m. Our first stop was Huntington Beach (approx. 45 min), then Newport Beach (approx. 1-1/2 hrs) and then Laguna (approx. 4 hours). Tom the tour guide was great. He had lots of interesting info to share about the sites along the way and SoCal in general. Just google Anaheim 411 for more info. I highly recommend it. :yay:

Hi,

This is Tom and I just happened to find the thread and post from DisneySK and wanted to thank you for the kind review! This is my 3rd post on this board and I am happy that guests are talking about us!

Thank you again for the kind reply and I hope to see the original poster and others on our tour one day!

We already decided to do your tour, Tom and really looking forward to it - we will be travelling from England in July. Is it necessary to book in advance?

Hi Pigby, We'd be thrilled to have you! Not sure about the necessity of prebooking although July is a busy month.

If you do, you can do it securely on the website and, if things change, you can be refunded or make any changes you'd like. If you wait till you get here, just call 714-817-9733 from your hotel. If you have any other questions about other things, ask me here or send me a private message and I'll give you my e-mail (which is right on the main page of our site).

I just don't know if I'm too "salesy" here and, regardless of whether you take our tour or not, I'd be happy to help in any way! Happy Planning! TS

Once we've worked out our itinerary, we'll pre-book online I think to be on the safe side - good to know we can probably change the date to a different day if our plans change a little -but at least I know we're in.

It's a definite must do for us and (after Disney) it's one of the things we're most looking forward to as we've been to the US many times and never been to a beach

Pigby, did you take the tour? How was it? We are interested in it, but can't find too much information on it. Being from a land-locked state, we want to see the ocean, but do not want to rent a car. Is this a pretty good option?

HI there

Yes we did do it - we had a bit of bad luck on our day out though. Our trip was changed to a different day - rang us night before and I said it was OK to do three days later. Unfortunately we had been having great weather but on the day we went, it was really chilly at the beaches and we wore sweat tops all day (had hoped to sunbathe on the beaches). It was a good way to get around though - the driver was friendly and knowledgable - we spent the day in diners and found a nice Irish bar at Laguna Beach! We also took a short ferry ride from Newport over to an island where the bus was waiting for us.

If we were to do again, we wouldn't book so far in advance and try to pick a hot day so we could do the things we wanted - not a lot to do at the beaches when the weather isn't good.
