Hello!
So, first question regarding California Port Transportation:

What is the best option to get from Disneyland Area Hotel to the Port?
  • 2 Adults
  • Staying at hotel near Disneyland
  • Flying in 2 days early, no worries about flights
Second question regarding OBC:

How much OBC would you recommend to budget for an EBPC cruise?
  • 2 Adults
  • Do not include excursions in recommendation (since we can budget those exactly ^_^)
  • Will be my 3rd Disney Cruise, his 1st Disney Cruise
  • I will want to buy Panama Canal merch (at LEAST a pin)
  • We do drink alcohol occasionally
  • Love culture/food

I have been on a Disney Cruise and I know to budget for tips and future cruise booking (whooh!) but I've never been on a 2 week Disney Cruise! I don't know if there will be extras to purchase (other than the specific cruise merch).
Dooney and Bourke would be on as well, right? I have a soft spot for those purses ...

Anywho! Thank you for your help! :)

So much is subjective, based on your interests and your personal definitions of things like what occasionally means in regards to drinking and the types of drinks you prefer. If you want a drink of the day every day, then budget like $20 a day for the two of you. But if you like good wine or fancy specialty drinks, that number could be a lot higher! For special merchandise, I would just expect cruise-specific items and then all the regular stuff. We bought pins and a Christmas tree ornament on our PC cruise, but they also had t-shirts and things like that. One thing I would recommend on such a long cruise is to budget for a few Palo meals and some tastings. They do a lot more and varied tastings on a long trip! Do you want to play Bingo? Personally I would say budget high and then you likely have money left over in the end. Always a plus!

It would depend on whether DCL is offering transfers and how much it costs. But, I'd probably do a shuttle service. We use Super Shuttle mostly, but there are others.

Disney doesn't do shuttles on the West coast. We have taken Amtrak from Anaheim to San Diego before. The train lets you off right in front of the cruise terminal.

Well, not "right" in front, it's about 2-3 blocks away. But certainly walkable.
