OBB, Changing Names, Babies etc.

I did a placeholder OBB back in January. On the cruise was myself, DH, DMIL, DS8 & DS6. I used all of our names for the future booking as DMIL was onboard with it all (pun intended).

Fast forward 4 months and we are 14 weeks pregnant with baby #3! While we are very excited, I'm wondering how this will affect our booking on Wednesday. We will need to replace DMIL with baby. But how does that work? Will there be any problems taking DMIL off and adding a what will be 1 year old? And we don't have a name picked out so not sure how that even works lol

Also, now DMIL is also Silver so I will be booking her room as well and DSIL and my what will be 2 1/2 year old niece will be joining her who have not sailed with Disney. That shouldn't be a problem though, correct? I know that room won't get the OBB perks but I still want to book their's early for the best price and room location.

Just want to make sure I have all my ducks in a row for when I book on Wednesday. TIA!

Did you HAVE to name everyone travelling or can you add people in your room, as long as you are booked in it? Maybe your baby can just be added, rather than taking DMIL off?

Well the names are already on the reservation and I can't add another because that would put 6 in the room and I'd have to book Concierge I believe to do that. Plus, DMIL will 100% not be in our room as she'll be sharing a room with DSIL and niece.

It'll all be fine. As long as one adult from the original booking remains (and you're not past final payment), you can change any of the other names at will without triggering any fees or loss of your discount. Just call them and make the change, or have your travel agent do it. For the name, just use "Baby [lastname]" for now, and once you actually have a birth date and a name, change to the actual name.
