Thank goodness for Hardball or I would have missed Hillary's comments. I just wanted to puke. She is willing to bring the whole party down and lose in Nov. just to get on the ballot. Listening to Bill is just as bad. I have no respect for them at all, and can not see how anyone can support them. They must be calling in every favor they have ever done for anyone. If this keeps up, we all lose. I now think she will make a horrible president, all she cares about is her, she will lie, cheat, steal, all in the belief that she is entitled.

I'm watching Olbermann and the segment with Jonathan Alter just ended. My take is that pundits such as Alter are legitimizing HRC's entitlement attitude. Alter was saying well you can understand she's committed so much of herself to this. I've heard other similar thoughts from other commentators

I don't get the entitlement attitude that some folks think it alright for this woman to have.

There was an opinion piece in the Dallas Morning News that touched on this a couple days ago. I meant to post it here on Monday.

When you step back and think about it, she is amazing. She possesses the audacity of hopelessness.

Does Mrs. Clinton privately believe that Mr. Obama is so incompetent that only she can deliver the policies they both support? Is she simply selfish and willing to put her party through agony for the sake of her slender chance?

The better answer is that Mrs. Clinton's long rear-guard action is the logical extension of her relentlessly political life. For nearly 20 years, she has been encased in the apparatus of political celebrity. Think of the thousands of staged events, the tens of thousands of times she has pretended to be delighted to see someone she doesn't know, the hundreds of thousands of times she has recited empty cliches, the millions of photos she has posed for in which she is supposed to appear empathetic or tough.

The Clinton campaign is like a machine for the production of politics. The only question is whether Mrs. Clinton can step outside the apparatus long enough to turn it off and withdraw voluntarily or whether she will force the rest of her party to intervene.

I need to stay on this thread. I have read one too many posts from alleged democrats who say that Obama "scares" them (or their family members, etc). If you don't like his policies, fine. Otherwise, I get the drift. Sad.

While I'm venting, if a voter writes in Hillary...and Obama is the nominee, the voter has just voted for the war. I'm a Mom of twentysomethings. This issue really matters to me. I don't want to see another 5 years of death notifications. We need new leadership-staying the course is not an option.

Almost 1 in 4 of the white voter's who oppose him think he is muslim, are they living under a rock? Never mind the other stuff
