Wright condemned America for its history of racism.

Ferraro made racist comments.

I'm sorry...I guess I'm missing the comparison. :confused3 Are Martin Luther King - who once condemned this country for war crimes in Vietnam - and David Duke on the same level in your eyes?

wvrevy, it's always good not to respond, they typically go away then... since this isn't a debate thread and it's FOR Obama... they can go play their game somewhere else

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: You make a very good point :lmao:

On an aside, anyone who watched his speech this morning, he again said those family's making less than 75K per year would not see an increase in thier taxes, rather they would see a 1K credit. He has said this on numerous occasions, but why is it I see posts that say "well I make 50K and my taxes will go up 4K", I've seen it many times now, and I just don't get it, how many times does he have to say the SAME thing, write the same thing, yet people just go by what somebody else has told them... it's a little annoying...

They hear what they want to hear, don't they??? They don't need any stinking logic, for heavens sake!:rotfl:

I'm missing your comparison of King and David Duke. Who brought them into the discussion?

The question is Wright. Did he say anything that deserves censure? And how do his comments compare to Ferraro's?
Equally as bad? Not as bad? Much worse? Can you defend your comparison?

Look just one more visit needed :rotfl2:

Kind of ironic, coming in a thread where the stated purpose is so that people can wall themselves off from the outside world, in order not to hear criticism and defend their candidate. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

You could have one for McCain but then again we all know the Conservatives aren't too much of a fan of McCain - you guys can only resort to finding reasons not to vote for Obama or Hillary.

No, they just don't want anyone to come and bash their war hero because that's just dirty politics.

One more visit and we'll teach you the secret handshake! We're glad you're posting on the Obama supporters thread, and (although a little surprised) very pleased you've thrown your support to Obama. Welcome BSnyder, Obama supporter!! Good choice!:goodvibes

Enough of a fan to vote for him in the fall. That's really the only thing that counts.

Hey, I can understand the need for this thread. Your party is self-destructing before your eyes. I know it's painful to watch (been there, done that :) ) This thread provides a respite from that - sometime's you just have to take a break from the reality-based community.

What some folks will do to learn the secret handshake!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:
I nominate BSnyder as Obama supporter of the day!

There are plenty of debate threads out there, Bet, or you can feel free to start a new one if you'd like. I won't get sucked into an argument on this one.

But since you're here: http://www.barackobama.com

Have fun! :thumbsup2

This is why having the ignore feature is so helpful, but since Bsnyer is our Barack Obama supporter of the day, here's to a drink :drinking1

Hey, that can be our Quote of the day!

Nah, I like talking with Bet...She usually does a good job of solidifying my beliefs. :teeth:

And I can't start drinkin' 'till a little closer to the 7:30 tipoff when WVU whoops up on Xavier. ;)

No more arguing from me - I'm off to the post office to mail a small truckload of documents to my accountant. I just LOVE tax prep time. It really solidifies the warm and fuzzy feelings I have for Obama and all the other wonderful liberals out there. :) :)

I will definitley take ya'll up on that drink offer when I get back.
