Obama supporters! - A positive place to talk about his campaign

I think most folks find him kind of tired at this point. I'm not worried about him. He's sort of the independent Huckabee.:joker:

Yeah, I think people woke up after 2000. I think he's just in love with himself. :crazy2:

Hey New Jersey-after today's temper tantrum, do you see any way Hil would be tapped for VP? I was totally shocked at her behavior.

I gotta wonder, too what Bill thought of her using the sarcastic "celestial choir" line. It may be awhile before the Clintons are welcome in churches again.....

I didn't think she had any chance of VP before this since the two of them have very different campaign themes, even though they have very similar stances. I do think, however, that these types of :mic: are doing nothing but making her look bad. It's almost as if she's on a scorched earth policy.

And to think...I was actually warming up to her a bit. But after this weekend, I'm back to how I felt post-Iowa.

Love the soundtrack, but the ugliness just turns my stomach.

Did you see Meet the Press slam HRC today on calling Obama out with the Xerox statement and then they played her heartfelt speech from the end of the debate with videos of Bill and Edwards saying all those same heartfelt words in their speeches?

Yeah I saw that. To be honest, I rarely watch the MSM media now when they talk about the campaign because the tone of the primary has gotten so nasty...and a lot of the things they say really annoy me (did you see that poll about "Do you think obama is patriotic enough?" on cnn.com yesterday?!) I'll definitely be skipping the debate, and catching up on the clips after it. With how this past weekend has gone, it doesn't look pretty for tomorrow night.

But I love MTP and Tim Russert so I still watch that.

great contrast ...love the "I am honored , honored to be here with you" at the debate and then.......the pit bull the next day!!

My Dh and I also got a big laugh when she said "enough with the speeches and the big rallys" Um you are giving a speech Hillary and you WISH you had big rallys like Obama....:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I loved the healthcare part - uhhh, she's been sending negative mailers out about that since WI. :crazy2:

Hillary's speech in Rhode Island, today was beyond the pale.:crazy2:

Quote: "I could stand up here and say, let's just get everybody together, let's get unified, the sky will open, the light will come down, celestial choirs will be singing, and everyone will know we should do the right thing, and the world will be perfect," she told a crowd that laughed at and cheered the jab at Obama's hopeful rhetoric. "... You are not going to wave a magic wand and have the special interests disappear."

If I hadn't have heard the clip from CNN with my own ears, I wouldn't have believed it. How sad. How unbecoming. How unpresidential.

She made herself look really bad in that clip. Not cool.

As for Nader, I don't think he's the spoiler everyone makes him out to be. I think it's a non-issue. I have no intention of voting for him like I did in 2000.

Not the best source in the world, but is there any truth that someone a Clinton volunteer sent out that Muslim email? I expect that kind of crap from the Republicans, but this disgusts me:

I think a while ago a Clinton volunteer was asked to leave after sending around the email saying Obama was raised Muslim. Hillary, quite rightly, said it wasn't something her campaign would support. I don't know about this one. But she can't control all of her minions. I don't think this is the tack her campaign wants to take, even if it is waning.

Glad she spoke out against the email, hopefully she'll speak out against this too.

Wow, if you think THIS is ugly I can't imagine what's going to go down when he IS the nominee. Like Tavis Smiley said "Obama is really gonna DISCOVER AMERICA"... :scared:

Obama is even tempered, and is able to roll with the punches. He's not into sarcasm, nastiness or whining. He's able to respond on an even keel in an adult fashion. I think he'll do just fine. :cool1:

Which I expect he'll handle with his usual grace and dignity.

OT...ROBIN!!! A man we disagree on??? What the heck? ;) ;)

Let me preface by saying I dont like her, but come on.... this is not how I want a president to act period! I thought her Shame on You scolding was irritating. I imagined her saying to other countries "Shame on you Castro, or who ever" and them rolling their eyes and flipping her the finger. You cannot act like that if you want to be president.

And then to mock his supporters, which is a huge chunk of the democratic party that might have voted for her if she were the nominee instead of him some day. She can kiss that support goodbye! I think the sky opened, the light shown down on her and showed us her true very ugly colors! :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 It even ticked off my mom, a huge Hillary supporter (and voter in NJ).

I saw we got another union endorsements - I can't think of the name right now...:scratchin
