O/t..Would a 5 year old boy like the movie Wall-E?

My boys (7 & 4) really liked WALL-E, but my husband and I kept looking at our watches. When I asked how much longer, his response was "Too Long!!!" I thought WALL-E and Eve were cute, but the man killing the Earth, and we are all big, fat, lazy, no good people were just TOO much for me. I wanted a light, happy movie, I was deeply disappointed. I know I'm in the minority, but then again I didn't like Ratatouille either!

Good to know I'm not the only one...(even the watch-checking, LOL!) And I didn't like Ratatouille either. Oh well, Bolt shows promise.

BTW, my 5 yo DS LOVED Wall-E. So much that he stared at the screen, forgot to eat his popcorn and walked out of the theater at the end with the bag still half full.

We seem to be the only people on the planet who found it very boring. My entire family wasn't thrilled by it. Oh well!

I also found it very boring. Me (36) DF(36) and dd(9). JUst my opinion but i felt like we wasted our money ~sorry~

My kids really liked it too, but I actually did fall asleep for like 15 minutes .
They were really drawn to Wall*E's character, but it just wasn't one of my favorite Disney movies.
I'm glad to see that there were others who felt like I did!

We saw it over a week ago and my twin 5 year olds loved it (one girl one boy). The fact that there wasn't a lot of talking turned out to be a plus. They totally knew what was going on. My hubby and I loved it too.

I saw it this weekend with my ds. Me, my dh, and my ds 4, LOVED it! Kept our attention the whole time and it was so cute. Definately recommend it.

I was bored, and DS(4) yelled out after an hour, during a quiet part (of course). "Ok let's leave now". He loved Wall-e and the parts with Wall-e in it but the others not so much. He liked Eve too. Two days later I thought to ask him what Eve was he said "a bird".
