How long does it take to get back a CA tax refund, filed electronically and with direct deposit?
I asked here, as I thought we'd have the most concentration of CA taxpayers here vs. other places.

We usually get ours in less than two weeks. That's using TurboTax, though I don't know if it makes a difference.

I just e-filed and requested direct deposit, and got an email saying it'll be deposited on or around the 15th. So in my case, about 10 days.

Thanks, all! We just moved from MN. There, we got state refund back in about 4 days. I had heard it was a bit longer here. We just efiled via turbo tax this afternoon.

Lucky you for getting something back from CA. When we had CA residency we ALWAYS had to pay in, and we didn't make that much, lol.

I never have to pay and use Turbo Tax free file. I get my refund in about 7-10 days.

I got my CA refund back in just a few days but still waiting on my federal. I filed my taxes on the 25th and got my state refund back in just a few days. I can't remember the exact day but it was literally only a few days later. Def less than a week cuz I know I had it sometime last week. As far as the federal I am still waiting but they told me I should have it by this Friday which would be about 2 weeks. Hope that helps.
