But you only need a a few drops, it's very rich. And $$$. We put it on popcorn We pop plain popcorn in a pan, add a little truffle oil, truffle salt, and get this: grated parmesean cheese. It's so indulgent and crazy delicious.




So DH thinks I should take Chloe on the Holiday Tour just she and I so as of now (may change ) it looks like I may bag the Napa Rose, keep the BB, and take Chloe on the tour. I can book at 30 days and get a discount with AAA and DVC.

Yom Kippur is ovah! The rabbi is coming over later though to work with DH on his conversion. I'm hoping he also wants to carve pumpkins as the kids are jonesing to carve them. We grew our own pumpkins this year.

Joshua wants to do the tour with me, not Chloe. Chloe doesn't want to miss out on the cool rides with DH. Joshua and I like DCA but don't love it so he said he'd be happy to do the tour with me while they go bananas on ToT and Screamin'. Sounds great to me. Chloe just said we had to save her the cookie.

I think we'll have fun too. He pretends to be big and tough but when it comes down to it, he's very much like me. He loves the rides I love, he likes the coasters and will ride them easy but once or twice a trip is plently. Now POTC, he'll go on that 10x a trip.


Carving tonight! Chloe is so eager to carve into her harvest she is beside herself. We have 8 full grown and 5 more almost ready. We'll be carving fools by the end of this thing.

I hope they stay thay way a while longer. I just don't want him to get bored and restless. I'd rather go alone and make friends than hear a griping child- especially my own!

He's a good kid but I can see him during the history part of the holidays at the DLR...... The parade and rides, he'll love.

Something I would love to do at Disneyland during the holidays is decorate ginger bread men. I don't know if they still do that anymore or not.

We did the cookies at the fire station on Main St years ago but our trip last November was so whirlwind- we had like 2 days, I didn't look. I think decorating ginerbread sounds fun! I'll go look on Sherry's mega thread to see if she has info.

I know!!!! I'm so excited. I keep reading about the reopening of POTC being pushed back. I hope it's open for us. I have a BB PS that I made almost a month ago and thus far Disney hasn't called to change it.

I did hear. I have a friend/coworker who is there right now. She's been texting me from there. I made her a DL and DCA rough itinerary. She hadn't been since she was 16 and her family had never been. They have 3 days. I told her to hit the beach today and do Disneyland tomorrow. I love the heat but 100* is far too warm for Disneyland. She said she's teared up a ton and they are having a magical trip. I'm so glad. We've been planning her trip for over 6 months.
