We live near WDW, and dpn't drink alcohol. So it's not like we *have to have* a room at WDW New Year's Eve.
I thought it would be a nice treat for us to put the dogs in a kennel and stay one night on site.
I called WDW reservations today and was told there were three types of rooms available:
French Quarter - King - $233.03 a night
Poly Concierge lagoon $752 a night
AK Deluxe Savannah $568.65

(No AP or FL rates available yet)

Even the $200+ for FQ didn't thrill me.

Just wondering what the experts here suggest, think, or will share their WDW resort NYE experiences.

At this time I may just try to get the dogs set up in a kennel that day and evening and return home NYE.

Wow! I've not stayed on property for NYE for a few years, now I know why! Actually, as a DVC member, I'd not be paying those rates, but that is far too much in my opinion. Is there nothing at all available at the Value resorts?

I guess I'd be driving home!
