NYE fireworks - WISHES- 9 and 11:59

Currently the schedule is showing a 9 and 11:59 for Wishes at the MK. Typically is the 11:59 a larger show since it is the midnight show bringing the New Year? We have 21 family members coming with us and we will just be arriving that afternoon. We have NO desire to attempt to get in the parks (we know they will be probaly be full) but would like to see "special" fireworks other than what we will have the chance to see later in the 7 days we are there. Is it possible to view the fireworks from the Poly beach or the GF beach even if we are at another Disney hotel? If anyone has any suggestions we would love the help. Yes this is only my second post but have been a reader a really long time. DIS has saved us lots of money with codes and we miss those codes!

You might be able to watch the midnight fireworks from CR, Poly, or GF, but being NYE, they may be out checking resort IDs to make sure that you belong there. They have done this before on the Poly beach on July 4.
