Has anyone ever done this in previous years who could direct me to a review or give me some feedback (i have heard this was done before?). DH and I have just booked a last minute trip to wdw for new years. As you can imagine all of the restaurants in EPCOT are booked for dinner and this was available (but only a few time slots) so we snaged it. Am I going to be better off just eating lunch in a sit down and then CS for dinner? These mass dinner production scare me:rotfl: Anyway I know it is located in World showplace and hopefully the seating arrangements are better tha PFTS:rotfl:

TIA!:goodvibes

Hi, I know Epcot holds a themed dinner every year (or at least the past few) for NYE, so I imagine it must be pretty good. Not to be off topic--but you might be interested in this--I had called Bistro de Paris for their fixed price NYE menu, and they still had availability last week. I got the number from Disney Dining, called it, and the chef from Bistro called me back. Bistro's multi-course NYE fixed-price meal was a bit pricey for me, and it's not on the dining plan, but they might still have availability. I have the number to Chefs/ Bistro (it's the same number)if you need it, or you can call the dining line.

Not sure about the dinner but we have been in Epcot a few times on NYE and as far as counter service goes - be prepared to wait on long lines there also. Can't remember what time we tried to eat but I remember being on line over 45 minutes in Mexico counter service a few years ago.

Also, keep searching for an ADR for NYE. We booked our New Year's trip in October, well past the 90 day mark and all I could get in Epcot for NYE was a 4:10 p.m. reservation for Tokyo Dining. I kept checking and yesterday I got a 10:30 p.m. ressie at Chefs de France. I personally would rather eat really late than really early, so I took it.

So just keep trying. It's a matter of luck and looking at just the right time, but you may luck out!

Really? That is good to know...thank you!

Just saw a 10:30 ressie for Tokyo Dining!

Edited to say: I'm seeing several Epcot reservations for NYE, including another at Tokyo Dining and one at Chefs de France. I would definitely try looking!

Do you need to leave your credit card info for NYE? I know when we went a few years ago for any table service NYE we had to leave a credit card with either 24 or 48 hours for cancellations. We even had breakfast reservations at Kona for New Years Day morning and had to leave our credit card info for that one also.
