NYE-Epcot or MGM?

We know it will be crowded, etc.. We are still going to either MGM or Epcot for NYE. We just can't decide which one?

Can you give me pros/cons to each? We are going (if not closed to crowds before we get there), so no need for advice to stay at hotel, don't go to a park, etc...

I am excited to go and have always wanted to spend NYE at Disney.

Just can't decide which park. We are going to MK on the Dec. 30th.

Oh, and I know it is possible and likely to close down due to crowds, but if we are staying on site are we guaranteed in at least one of the parks? It seems I have read that somewhere.
AK closes early that night, so would we definitely be able to get in to one of the other 3.
We are planning to get there around noon and hoping MGM or Epcot will still be allowing people in.

I think I can't now be accused of being vague about it.



Yes, there is a strong chance that one or more of the parks will be closed to further admission for a period of time during the height of the holidays.
And yes, polocy is for on-site guests to be allowed entrance to at least ONE of the 4 parks on that over-crowded day.
But I don't think that means that if only one park is still open that night, but it is already over-filled, that they'll still "crow-bar" you in (although they MIGHT).
That said, the idea of being "allowed" to enter a too-full park does not have any appeal to me.
