NYE Dining while in the Park, Please Help

Hi.

If I secure a 10/11 pm dinner reservation at an Epcot or Disney Springs restaurant, is
it safe to think that they will do a countdown and celebrate in the restaurant at midnight?

Has anyone done this before?

For Epcot I'd imagine they'd pipe in music from the midnight fireworks show. However I wouldn't want to be inside a restaurant at that time unless you have a clear view of the fireworks. You'd be missing the best fireworks show.

If I am there, no way I'm not outside with a decent spot to watch the midnight fireworks.
