NYE at Vero Beach - I wonder what special events they will have?

So my husband wanted to do something different for NYE and booked us in at Vero Beach. We called to find out what events they will have and all the front desk could find was a pool party until 12:30, a character meet & greet from 5-8 with Goofy, Chip & Dale, a buffet at Shutters and formal dinner at Sonya's.

I am wondering if there are other events that this very nice front desk gentleman couldn't find?

That pretty much sums it up. We've been to Vero twice for new years. It's pretty low key, but the pool party was nice for the kids. We enjoyed being away from the madness of Disney World over the actual holiday.

We had a great NYE at Vero Beach! It was laid back but very relaxing and lots of fun to be away in some lovely surroundings and good food!

We ended up eating the buffet at Shutters and our room overlooked the pool party so we pretty much enjoyed the party from our balcony. Enjoyed walking on the beach and sitting in the lobby amidst the decorations and Christmas music watching people all dressed up.

This was a great idea and I am very glad we were in our Disney home to ring in the new year!
